Kimchi adalah makanan khas Korea yang sangat terkenal. Ada bermacam-macam jenis kimchi di Korea. Konon katanya ada 100 macam kimchi di Korea. Rasa dan jenis kimchi di Korea tergantung dari daerah mana kimchi itu berasal. Pada umumnya rasanya yang asam, gurih dan pedas, mirip asinan sayuran di Indonesia.
BAHAN - BAHAN :
4 Buah sawi putih
1 Buah wortel besar
3/4 Buah lobak putih besar
1 ruas jahe besar
14 siung bawang putih
3 bawang bombay ukuran sedang
100 gram ebi kering atau basah
1/2 botol saus ikan
4 sdm tepung beras
1 kg garam kasar ( garam laut)
5 sdm cabe bubuk korea atau sesuai selera.
1 ikat daun bawang
1 ikat daun kucai (optional)
3 sdm madu (optional)
4 gelas air untuk bubur beras.
