You can stir the caramel longer after removing it from the heat, then there will be no air in the caramel and the balls will be transparent.
For balls:
35 ml water
110 g sugar
50 g molasses (glucose, invert syrup)
0.25 tsp citric acid (add only after removing the caramel from the heat. Otherwise it will taste bitter.)
Any tea is suitable
