I use to have a Carrera S, 997 C2, it was a lot of fun but my lease ended and I had to concentrate on getting an apartment in Hawaii, they are super expensive here....lol. I will work may way back to ownership but t will take me a little while; for now I just enjoy your content ... lol, Can’t wait to see the 992, looks amazing!

Btw loving my new yellow trim. If I never have to remove the cup holder assembly again … what a pain in the a$$$ that was. The difference between force and destruction was so so close! Mine was obviously a virgin compared to your video. It took a serious commitment to pop that assembly!

A “little tricky” ?!!! I major PIA to remove. What ever you think is enough force, add 100% and then it’ll pop. English understatement at it’s best!! I’d almost given up on the color change.

That’s a great suggestion. I’ve looked into it a little but not enough. It would be pretty cool if I could pull it off. The calipers gets terribly hot though. My guess is too hot for any wrap.

I have red gauges and a red clock w red writing and stiching on the floor mats in mine. Trying to decide if I want to do black carbon fiber in mine with the shift paddles and shifter in red carbon fiber to match the gauges and clock so the carbon fiber still all still flows.

Hi there you said that your friend has got a 992 Is it easy enough to take the tail pipes off do you think oh yeah by the way another great video🤟🏻
@AutoAmateur
3 жыл бұрын
Thank you!! Yes, should be easy enough. You probably just need to remove the rear bumper as the tail pipes sit through the bumper as opposed to sitting under the bumper like the 991 and previous gens of 911.

I’ve been thinking of getting my tedious piano black trim on my T replaced by these carbon fiber bits, and also the carbon floor mats and steering wheel which I find awesome with the carbon inserts. Also I’ve got a small niggle in the leather steering wheel backside at 7 o’clock so that would be super to replace. Maybe also the aluminum sport pedals? Only down side is the insane price of the parts. Sun coast is the best supplier?
@AutoAmateur
4 жыл бұрын
I often start any search for parts at SuncoastParts.com then use their stock and pricing as a benchmark to compare other resellers and places like eBay. More often than not, I'll buy from Suncoast if I can.
