Carbon monoxide, life threatening!
During an annual central heating boiler maintenance I discovered that the flue gas outlet had fallen away and that the flue gases are being blown out into the living room. The resident had inexplicably frequent headaches for some time.
Because carbon monoxide has no smell and taste, carbon monoxide is often discovered late.
People also quickly become unconscious when inhaled. Because the gas is absorbed into the blood faster than oxygen, there is a lack of oxygen in important organs.
In this video I show you how to test your flue gas and look at a reconstruction of true stories of fatalities caused by the silent killer carbon monoxide.
