I just get this impression that Jim Perry is a very very nice man. If I'm wrong then he's a very very good actor (but I think I'm right *smile). Thanks for the uploads. I love these older shows.

Whenever somebody hits a question on the nose, it's a $500 Bonus Too bad they didn't have that back then until late 1980 I LOVE it whenever somebody hits a question on the nose and/or "Runs the Board" for a $500 Bonus

Just so ya know, this was also the 2nd episode in which the Models wore Wardrobes Furnished by Giorgio Beverly Hills (later Fred Heyman's Giorgio Beverly Hills and Fred Heyman Beverly Hills) which were the same wardrobes worn by the likes of the cast of The Young and the Restless, Jim McKrell from his days on Celebrity Sweepstakes, Bert Convy on TattleTatles, Bill Cullen during his days on Child's Play and Hot Potato, Mike Reilly and Karen Kargas on Monopoly The Series in 1990, Bobby Van on The Fun Factory, Elaine Stewart Heatter on The Original GAMBIT and of course, The Face of Wheel of Fortune in Letter Queen Vanna (Daytime and Syndication)

And the even more remarkable thing about this is that this was during the era of doubles in the money cards = LOSS, so it certainly took a LOT of guts for both of them to get to five figures in the money cards.

One thing I noticed about both playings, strategy says to bet at least half every time cause at worst your odds are about 50/50. Neither of them held back much on middle cards. Still gutsy but sometimes you take risks and they work out. Here they did. 🙂

It's so funny to see them bleep out the word 'god' when the contestants would yell out 'Oh my god' Now some hosts, not even contestants, use terms like 'crap, suck, peed and pissed off' My how times have changed. It's also hysterical to see how cheap the sets were back then when they jumped up and down. Looks like it was made out of balsa wood.

The $100 Bonus was used during the Bob Eubanks/Bill Rafferty Era during the Audience Poll Question Beginning in the fall of 1980, it was $500 for hitting it on the nose and if you Run the Board, it was a $500 Bonus and that started around 1981
