This 34" puzzle model had so many compartments and layers of cardboard that it took a very long time to sink. Thats why the clip jumps a few times.

The whole ship was never in frame so there's a good chance the person taking the video was simply holding the ship to make it sink a certain way. I made a video of a cardboard titanic video where I use internal watertight bulkheads to make it sink like the real thing.

I have a model like this and after the pain that I went through and PTSD that I developed I would never sink it. Great video though!! 👍

You know come to think of it i never really had developed trauma or pain building it, but i guess having built larger models or sets with thousands of pieces may have made it easy and enjoyable for me i forget some people have trouble with puzzles

@@revvingnoodle7192 In truth I found it enjoyable, but it took what seemed like forever. Not to mention tiny pieces and details that needed to go on. So I liked the process a little bit, I really like the outcome, but I would never do it again.

I used to have the Revell model of the Titanic. One fine day, all by itself it fell off the shelf it was on and busted into about 20 pieces. There were no survivors.

Chloe... nicely done! There is not a detailed description by Watercraft, only that it is compartmentalised paper covered styrofoam. I suppose the paper is water protected and the model is designed to retrieve and re-sink. Now that you have treated us to a daylight sinking, do you intend to some how record a night time sinking?

It looks like at around the 0:56 time frame that it was given a bit of help to sink. Maybe just motion from the camera operator? Anyway. Nicely done.
