Dude Gallegos sucks hard, he should not be on the team at all, everyone knows this. The fact he keeps being put out there to just blow it and look horrible is a sad reality.

@bschaeffer12 I WISH I was going for this series. It didn't work out and we are just missing it!! I'll still represent though.😀

The last two series have shown there's not a lot of difference between the Cardinals, Pirates and Rockies. And that's not a good thing. We are a mediocre team and no tinkering at the deadline is going to change that. We don't have much to trade for any needs because the players any team is going to be interested, are the same players we are counting on moving forward. Our farm system isn't what it once was.

Good stuff Brendan. Lynn is a #6 starter.

Big Lance fan, we're both Ole Miss guys and I watched him pitch every home start at Ole Miss. Lance seems maxed out at 5 innings and he's not in great shape. I hope he can provide more innings because right now he's killing the pen. Lance has always been a workhorse and innings eater. It may be father time creeping up on Lance. We'll see; he's got to start giving 6 plus innings.

I think Cubs winning 2 of 3 is the likeliest outcome, but I'm going to say Cards sweep the Cubs in Wrigley this weekend. I just hope the Roku game isn't as bad as the last one, it might be the last game I get to see this year!

Hot day . Maby overweight and ran out of gas in the heat . He lost control of pitches for sure.

Lynn knows he needs to get further into games, but I sometimes wonder how serious he is about it. He seems to go through periods where he's a little sloppy with his pitches. I also don't see the aggression from him that I remember, but he may just be trying to avoid giving up bombs too. I'm glad to see some of the B team boys grauating into more high leverage spots. I thought Ollie's pen management was especially great in the Sonny Gray game and aside from Jojo (if I remember correctly) none of the other two of the triumvirate even needed to get up. Good show. I'm getting caught up.

I remember 2018 or whatever when he was here seeing him pitch that way at times. Just wasting pitches. I guess in reality pitching is harder than we realize. Sometimes throwing strikes isn't as easy as it looks. I certainly wouldn't be able to do what he does!

It's not the 5-2 we wanted but it puts you in a position to be able to get back to .500 by winning the series in Chicago. Not pretty but just need to keep treading water until healthy

Exactly. This team has real talent with a great mix of vets and young guys. Just keep treading water and doing what you can for the time, and hope to strike in the next few weeks when Noot, Contreras, and hopefully Edman get back. Very few fanbases in the league are happy with their current placement, it’s not a Cardinal-specific problem. I feel like we have to remind ourselves of that sometimes

Lynn has been extremely frustrating. A lot to love about the guy, his personality, etc when it's going well. When it's not, he's unwatchable. But I guess that's true of many guys when they're off their game.

I really liked Pallante and Pages together in their last game. Would be cool to see if these two young guys could develop into solid battery mates. Fun fact! I was just looking up their ages and these guys are one day apart. Pages September 17, 1998 and Pallante September 18, 1998!

Lance was sailing along. Then he wasn’t. Again. Sigh. Hoping he can get some length. Big win. Pages, Donnie. Need to go on a roll so we can all relax. 🤣🤣🤣 Thinking that the talent is there. Wondering if it’s “Sports entertainment.” Bless his heart, but, please don’t let Gallegos return. He’s been cooked since before the playoff flameout against Philly. Giving the Cubs 2 wins. “Always with the negative vibes.” 🤣🤣🤣 Just playing. Big fan of Donald Sutherland’s performance in “Kelley’s Heroes.” Cardinals need to shove the Cubs. “Just win baby.”
