In this presentation, Tina Helm - Communications Lead from Women's Health Loddon Mallee launches the regional 16 Days of Activism Toolkit 2024. This year the regional theme is: We Can Change the Story Loddon Mallee. Choose Respect.
Each year Women's Health Loddon Mallee set a regional theme for 16 Days and develop a 16 Days of Activism Toolkit and set of campaign resources to support organisations and communities in the Loddon Mallee Region to participate in and lead events and activities as part of the international campaign.

The toolkit contains:
•Information about the international and regional 16 Days campaign.
•Some suggestions from our communities about ways that you can get involved.
•WHLM Health Promotion team’s selection of the best books, films, tv shows and podcasts around gender equity and preventing violence against women.
•Data relating to the prevalence of reports of violence from the 10 Local Government Areas in the Loddon Mallee Region.
•Some conversation starters to encourage peers and communities to have conversations about gender equality.
•Some tips on how (and when) to respond to backlash and resistance.
•A list of support services with contact details that we encourage communities and organisations to share as part of their 16 Days campaign
•Some useful research and resources.
•A suite of campaign resources, including Zoom backgrounds; Email banners; Selfie Frames for social media; Pledge cards for online photo campaigns
