I half expected to hear at the very end, in a clear voice, "Greetings Earthlings. Your planet has now been taken over."

Very cool. It seems like it becomes increasingly resonant with the rooms resonant signature, also the microphone and speakers hardware resonance as well

My dog started listening at this point. She became interested in my phone. Makes me wonder how animals other than humans perceive the world differently than I do. Bees, bats, whales , etc., enjoy the earth very differently than I do.

Sounds like my grandfather’s hearing aids when they give off that obnoxious frequency sound. I love it

It is interesting how everything sounds more "fragmented" as it is repeated. Then it continues to separate even more to almost sound like a bell ringing or "resonating".

I went and checked out the Alvin Lucier project during the video, what an interesting concept the Lucier effect is

It definitely seems reminiscent of audio feedback, particularly towards the end. Which makes sense considering that is essentially what it is I think, just more controlled and with a longer audio "frame" (not sure the best word to use) of sorts. Sounds a lot more interesting (and eerie) than just listening to feedback though lol.

Yeah it's definitely the in-between iterations that are the most interesting. Lucier must have had a relatively reverberant room with well-balanced acoustics to not have a single frequency just 'run away' immediately. I had to do a little EQ to get my space to produce more interesting results.

However eerie this sounds, I also feel that I could easily meditate to this :) there is something calming to that effect, maybe how it sort of decomposes to particles and to... nothing...

I notice that the final note of the music stays less distorted for many of the iterations. Then suddenly it's pitch goes up. Is it just my perception?

Hmmm... Time stamp where the pitch seems to change?

Does digital recording yield similar results, or just tape recording? Very creepy. The original wouldn't recognize it's children. ✌

Yes, this is a digital recording. The effect is due to the room, not to the recording equipment.
