I have a feeling that this is exactly what the film maker wanted to do. Lack depth in certain areas to focus on other themes. Most of the film was carried by two characters. My opinion is that we cannot imbibe content in such an insular manner! The west has been exploring this genre for decades so parallels are inevitable! I personally dont think the pace was a negative aspect of the movie. It gave us the feel of the surrounding. Like something done by stanley kubrick in most of his movies. The extremely slow pace of 2001 was not that necessary, but it gave the idea of the surrounding. The director wants us to know that space is lobnely and that was also an underlying concept in cargo as well, 'Emptiness and loneliness'.

I personally believe that inception (despite being a wonderful film ) had really bad and clunky exposition. I think every story doesn't require a very direct exposition. It can be done in a subtle fashion and cargo did that . The film definitely has some flaws for sure(2 plot holes) but all in all it's pretty damn good. I kinda agree with the humane aspect you mentioned. Vikrant and shweta are impeccable but their characters lack personality. The thing is that film making in india hasn't really been very experimental and filmmakers haven't gotten the opportunity to practice their craft in unique genres. But i have a feeling that it's changing and cargo was one prime example

We need more content like this. Film industry needs now more than ever to believe that audiences deserve much more than peppy songs and action in the name of entertainment.

Not that original. The movie has the exact same title as another Netflix movie from just a couple of years ago. Duh.

@@VasManHorrorLivesMatter wth, even Roma(2018) had the exact same title as Roma(federico fellini) but it was damn original. Same goes for cargo, only the title is same as some other film. The concept is totally different. By the way, there was another movie named cargo.

@@YashChaphekar07 C'mon son, those movies were 50 years apart. I am questioning the wisdom of having two recent Netflix films with the same title. If you wanna stand out and be original it's not a good start.

Read full : I may not criticize but i see the concept in anime named "death parade" ,plus there is a scene that there is no heaven or hell that too reminds me of death parade, I know they try something new but in the anime there is a girl 'chiyuki' , if shweta Tripathi also done that role it's a full copy, but still there's exception of unique story SO LET'S GET FINGERS CROSSED THAT THIS WILL BE ORIGINAL AND NOT LIKE THAT 👍👏 (hope so)

I am from Kerala and I watched this movie and it was amazing... Making, story is also excellent.. I still can't believe it's a Bollywood film... Amazing work Bollywood.. This is the kind of movies we need from Bollywood... They have the resources to produce this kind of movies, still they rely on bullshit item dances and stupid stories.... This movie should be popular than SOTY2 and coolie no 1

I regularly watch 90% of your videos since a few months now. BUT I completely ignored this video. Somehow the thumbnail just didn't get my attention and the text, "Proudly Original" led me to believe that video must be some kind of mockery on the lack of imagination on some Indian content. BOY I WAS WRONG! Through some *ahem* means I found this series, which led me to it's trailer on YT, which led me to YOUR comment on that trailer, which led me to THIS video! I don't understand how I missed this underrated gem! Love both the actors, Vikrant and Shweta! And despite it's concept borrowed from Upload, I whole hardheartedly support it! INDIAN SCI FI! HERE WE COME!

The movie is Raw, But the Concept is Awesome. If she had a similar budget of movies like Kalank, Saaho. The movie would have been visually outstanding. The score of the movie is unique in its own way. Vikrant and Shweta are brilliant as usual. We should appreciate Aarti Kadav (The Director) for taking the bold step. We want movies like Cargo, Tummbad instead of shitty Bollywood romance, exaggerated action, and worst adult comedy.
