There’s nothing for me to constantly worry about because the universe will do whatever it’s going to do and I welcome whatever the universe does with open arms. My true parents are ancient stars and I feel fortunate they died so I could exist. I’ll spend the rest of my life obtaining and learning as much knowledge in science as I possibly can because that is the way to truly understand how we came to exist on this planet.

He did talk about the concept of multiverse in Cosmos (book). But yeah I would have loved to know his thoughts about the current advancements of science today, especially in space exploration. He wrote beautifully of Voyager 1’s photograph of the Earth in the “Pale Blue Dot”. Imagine what he would’ve written about Cassini’s mission to Saturn. Or the rovers launch to Mars (Spirit, Curiosity, Perseverance, Opportunity, Sojourner) which he did also mention in his book, about sending rovers to planets and terraforming them.

It's worth noting that since this was made, our understanding of the origin of life has changed dramatically. It's now believed that self-replicating molecules came to be in a complex interplay of deep-sea chemical plumes, clays, and mineral deposits, and it had to work its way to the surface before photosynthesis started. (And then the photosynthetic bacteria put a bunch of oxygen into the air, which wiped out most of the other species of life, but allowed the cambrian explosion to happen... I love this stuff)

Is this the abiogenesis thread? Since this comment, the entire concept of self replicating molecules forming in chemical plumes and building RNA chains has been essentially tossed out. Recent experiments have shown that when water filters through lava and forms basaltic glasses, the conditions are such that complex RNA chains are formed whole cloth. This has been confirmed experimentally and conveniently explains the mystery of why life on earth appeared immediately after the late heavy bombardment.

I ask that you please genuinely seek God and please watch my video titled do u have true faith in God? Seek the Holy Spirit. you see u have never had an experience with God because you have not seeked him with your whole heart. To have a relationship with God a person must have true faith in Jesus Christ and repent and turn from their sins. if you do repent and turn from intentional sins and make Jesus your Lord and Savior and seek God He will reveal himself to you as real. you see the devil has blinded your mind from the truth so you will not seek God and u will not repent and so what I am saying seems foolish. Do you understand that the devil is in charge of deceiving people in this world and he controls the kingdoms of this world. research illuminati if u do not believe me, the ungodly music, movies ect all full of sin to corrupt people and deceive them away from repenting and knowing God so that they can go to hell when they die, the devil is behind this and it is quite obvious. Jesus is the only way to heaven and when u die u will KNOW that he is real. Every knee will bow to Him one day. Seek the Aura of the Leprechaun’s Pot of Gold. you see u have never had an experience with Zeus because you have not seeked him with your whole heart. To have a relationship with Zeus a person must have true faith in a Unicorn and repent and turn from their mistakes. It also helps to lack any curiosity or self worth. if you do repent and turn from intentional mistakes and make a Unicorn your Pet and Means of Conveyance and seek Zeus he will reveal himself to you as real, probably while you are defecating on the toilet. you see the intellectual movement has blinded your mind from the truth so you will not seek Zeus and u will not repent and so what I am saying seems foolish, almost stupid and insane actually. Do you understand that the politician is in charge of deceiving people in this world and they control the kingdoms of this world. research the illuminati if u do not believe me, the unzeusly music, movies ect all full of mistakes to corrupt people and deceive them away from repenting and knowing Zeus so that they can go nowhere when they die, the politicians are behind this and it is quite obvious. Unicorns are the only way to heaven when u die-they have pointy horns to pierce the clouds. u will KNOW that they are real when you see their pointy horns. Every knee will bow to Zeus one day, or maybe Kim Jong-un, I'm not really sure. Please repent and seek Zeus while u still can so your soul can be saved and u can have a relationship with the one who created u which is what we are made for. We don't make our own food like plants, we feed off plants and other parasites--animals like cows and chickens. Many parasites have symbiotic relationships with their hosts. As we better observe our earth and universe, we can become more considerate parasites for the good of all beings and things. That's the direction we're headed.

@cobrajeff96 There is a marked difference between parasitism and symbiosis. It is true that we humans are parasites, but the rest of nature lives in symbiosis with the plants. Animals only take as much as they need, and rarely without human intervention does any one species end up dominating an envoronment too heavily. A parasite by nature weakens it's host, a symbiotic relationship is one of mutual benefit, or at least, one that does not cause harm to either party.

I'm agnostic and think there is a God but but more so, I believe and respect the laws of science and evolution. No I don't think god created the universe. I think God exist in his world. I think life as we know it here on earth is its own dimension and the same thing for the afterlife. I think life is about free will which God doesn't interfere with. I think any religion who thinks they can interpret what God's ambitions are is only kidding themselves. Saying you know what the supreme being wants and teaching the masses what you feel God's intentions are is wrong. For all the Christians, Catholic, Muslims, you don't know what God wants. For all you know, God probably doesn't want you to interpret his purpose. I will dedicate my life to science because it is the answer for human salvation. Your intelligence and contribution in science will do more for the human race than religion. But thats just my opinion.

@7heFlyingDutchman You can not disprove the existance of Zeus, but we both know the mythology is ridiculous. I just take it one step further by adding the same logic to Christianity. I think we are at a brink in human history where truth is essential. Religion let's people think they know things they do no - this is dangerous. The world is beautiful without dogma and superstition. Scientific litteracy is the most empowering and beautiful feeling I've ever felt.

@cobrajeff96 Check out the Drake equation. We as humans have come to that critical point, we have unlocked the power of the atom and now we must as a species seek out life in the universe.
