Listening to Same and Carleen makes your lives sound as if they could have occurred on another planet. So much energy had to go into creating and maintaining the buffer between the FLDS, other Mormon groups and the outside world.

Have you had a chance to interview Christine Katas? She works with current FLDS maybe Melissa could interview some of the women she works with since she is not an “Apostate”. This series has been amazing you guys are doing a GREAT JOB 👏

Have you guys considered interviewing Calvin Weyman? He left Centennial Park and its interesting to see the contrast between a group that split off from the FLDS but doesn't seem as extreme. These series of interviews have been so fascinating, its easy to forget these people were actually humans in a way and you do a great job

It makes me so mad how they split families apart and kick parents out for no reason. When she said her grandparents were married 50 years and her grandpa got kicked out that broke my heart.

She's amazing. I went to the old dirt academy with the Williams boys, and their wives: John and Lori, I think, Roger, Thomas, Joel, and Robert and Susan who were my age. Probably missing one or two younger than Robert. To me, we were one big happy family during high school in the 60's. That would be 1960's, just to keep our centuries straight. But we do go back to Adam and Eve. They's a waitin' for us.

Sam: "bring me those wives!" hahahahahahahahahahahaha. cute and naive. Love your interviews as well as the loving interactions you both show so easily to each other. Gentle and comfortable love.

The flds in Colorado city and hildale were not allowed to take out mortgages to build their houses, and the people in centennial park were. Also, the Colorado city and hildale people were giving all their money to the Jeffs. The Jeffs family had finished houses and manicured yards.

Very interesting - thank you./ It was a huge mistake of Jeffs so split up families and children. All cultures all round the world try to ensure families can stay together because that is best for children, even if they are in plural families at least they have stability.

Jeff's did the exact same thing that Joseph Smith did. Smith married at least 10 under age girls then sent men away on Missions then stole their wives (and children) There's no difference between the two.

But women and children on their own are much easier to exploit, that's not to say women can't stand up for themselves or their families, but its a lot harder for them to do so

I have zero doubt he was intentionally trying to create disattached children for him and his buddies to prey upon. The kids in Texas were being shifted away from any mother they were showing attachment towards and vice versa… what’s scary is if he had gotten 5-10 more years he would have successfully created this bullshit!
