I've had Multiple Sclerosis for 38 years now. I'm 57 and thought eating mostly veggies, fruit and grains as they told me decades ago. Kept feeling worse and worse. Changed to strict carnivore and have never felt better. Not as near the amount of pain, blood pressure down, energy up, anxiety gone. I will eat this way forever now. 💪🏼❤️

Too many improvements to list Life is good I will say this… I started investigating trying to figure out why I was starting to suffer from intense memory loss/brain fog and confusion… That is what led me to the carnivore diet and fast fast improvement

I used to get so nervous before flying, afraid I'd forget something or lose something, etc. Recently, I drove to the airport and realized I was totally chill. No anxiety. What a breakthrough! Not to mention good energy, no pain in my body any more, clear brain, and on and on. I agree with you. I'm not going back! This is so great. And I'm so grateful.

this story hits a bit too close to home - chronic stress that lead to extreme tiredness and afternoon naps, a progressive worsening of my mental capacity that eventually lead to getting fired, being unable to work for years, and becoming more and more anxious - not being able to drive ofc but also getting very overwhelmed from the passanger seat. Also, imagining over and over again all the ways I can injure myself by falling and accidents, my pets left helpless or my parents passing away and me unable to cope. I discovered that if I can stick to carnivore for at least 2-3 weeks the simptoms improve a lot but sometimes the sugar cravings are too much or I feel the impulse to binge because meat doesn't make me high like sugar does. Regardless, I am not giving up because after reading one of Dr. Gabor Mate's books and listening to the story of Jacqueline du Pré and what MS did to her - I understood that I am the same type of person - unable to output my negative feelings, which is very common for MS patients. Carnivore fills me with life, I also feel more spiritual as well, for the first time in 15 years. Everyone who goes carnivore is given a second chance at life, as if a deity took our hard and pulled us away from the shadow of death. I am so incredibly grateful. I think I found a way to stop wanting sugar as well. Sending encouragement to everyone listening.

I love what you said about a deity pulling us away from the shadow of death. I feel like I was guided by angels and brought to this diet because I was spiraling down toward my own demise, just by living and eating the way we've been advised for decades. I don't have MS, but I was basically disabled due to a HORRIBLE mental state - severe anxiety and suicidal depression as well as obesity and many other physical problems. These are ALL HEALED now, after 1-1/2 years on carnivore and some EMDR treatments for PTSD. It's wonderful to hear of your own recovery, and about so many others who are achieving amazing success by turning to Carnivore and other low-carb methods to finally heal!

Didn't have any health or weight issues when I started, but at 69 yrs old I wanted to do something to maintain the good health that I was enjoying. What I learned was that everybody posting a video had their own idea as to what is best. You have to learn to listen to your body and what it's telling you. You look great and your experiences really relatable. I'm 41, had a ski fall 10 years ago which left me with neurological issues, headaches all the time, shacking vision, balance problems and chronic fatigue. It ended my military career and turned me into a desk jockey at home. I am loads better now, although not fixed, I'm used to living with my condition but I got overweight and weak. 42 days on carnivore, I'm full of energy and the fat is falling off FAST. I still get headaches, I still get balance issues, but I feel motivated and I want to push myself again, like a switch in my head has been flicked! No more IBS, no more acid reflux, no more midday zombie. All from eating food I LOVE! eggs and bacon for lunch and steak in butter for diner, its so perfect and I WANT it! I want my steak when other options are available. In two months im on track to hit my body weight goal and light enough to not stress my medical injuries so much during exercise.

I mean, I really love accomplishing things without thinking of a food substance to reward myself. For the first three months, I have added and removed things from my diet and now I have stabilized. I just stumbled upon your channel and really enjoyed hearing your story. The Carnivore diet has helped tens or even hundreds of thousands to improve their physical and mental health, and especially those with auto immune diseases like MS and Parkinson’s which my uncle has recently been diagnosed with. Eating meat, butter bacon and eggs will continue to heal your body and I truly think it will significantly reduce your MS symptoms, if not cause them to go into remission. I have been doing Ketovore (Carnivore with a small amount of veg) for the past 5 months and I’ve lost 53 lbs and have reversed my Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, chronic arthritis, acid reflux, sleep apnea and IBS. I also have massive energy again, and my mental clarity and focus is off the charts!! My anxiety and depression is also in remission. I just plain feel great again…. @@BlackCeIIea I agree, a predominantly Whole Foods plant based diet made me feel better too. I do still eat some meat personally because I feel my best with leaving some in my diet. I went carnivore for 6 months to get rid of my gut dysbiosis and I felt good initially and had some oxalate dumping but about 4 months in I started to feel deathly ill with rashes, insomnia, heartburn, worsened asthma, stomach pains and nausea. Worked with a dietician and it took me 5 months to transition off of it and heal my gut because it made my body super sensitive to everything but I pushed through and now I feel much better! Congratulations on your improved health journey. I too have been on a more strict carnivore diet for approximately a month. Previously on keto with some success but I still had "bad days". And by that I mean the fibromyalgia, among a many other things, that I was diagnosed with decades ago would still poke it's ugly funkin' head out at me. 😒 I could go on and on about the rapid changes I'm experiencing. BUT I find this remarkable and almost shocking to me. . .in the last month I have only needed to take pain meds ONCE! 😯 I used to wake up every single morning and down a bunch of ibuprofen and continue throughout the day with prescription meds. As you stated, the weight loss is just a bonus. I'm so excited about getting rid of inflammation that would cause be to have enough pain to be bed ridden. No more of that shit! 😍 I'm loving this carnivore lifestyle. I actually sort of like getting out of bed in the am. Don't tell my family that though. . .😂 They're used to leaving me alone for an hour or so and I'd like it to stay that way. 😬 I'm in my 50's and they're all grown ass adults as well so it's okay for me to feel that way I think. 🤗 Thank you for sharing your story. 🙂 Your authenticity is attractive. Well done you.

I'm so happy to hear that it's doing well for you. I'm also 3 weeks in and I have to be careful where to focus the extra energy! Sometimes I feel like running around the house for no reason like my cats lol. You remind me of my mother who said the same thing when she went carnivore-ish, that she feels like it's a second life. Here I am trying to earn my own second life too :).

So happy for you. Your experience mirrors my own almost perfectly. I forgot about the bloating and how quickly it disappeared. I've experienced all the other benefits you mentioned, too. I started carnivore on July 1 and today is August 20. I'll never go back to eating sugar and processed junk food.

All the other diets are what stuffed up our health. I tried plants for 2 years but they made things get worse faster than my original crappy diet. In 2018 I found carnivore and gave it a try because I was still looking for healthy foods (plant based was not working) and within a month I had significant benefits. There should be no survivor guilt, only anger at all the diet misinformation put out by people and organisations which should know better. No more loose teeth, bleeding gums, sensitive teeth, blocked sinuses, mouth breathing, left eye twitches, heartburn, calf cramps, yellow stool, blood in stool, edema below the knees, pain in feet when walking, I can stay out in the sun longer without burning or peeling, lower back stiff/pain-twinge free since Nov 2022 after an operation in 2005

It's very encouraging to see you thriving in spite of the MS. You look *amazing*. Well done! Carnivore has got to be the easiest way to take control of our health, isn't it? Meat, eggs, salt, water, what could be simpler than that? 1-1/2 years in, and feeling better and better. Keep going!

I will be shocked (and so happy to connect,) if I can find another person in the comments living with the same condition as me…I had chronic pain, inflammation from a congenital joint condition called fibular hemimelia. I also had chronic flare-ups with eczema on and off for several years, and another symptom I didn’t even realize was curable: chronic BLOATING😅 All of this cleared up when I went carnivore. I’ve tried almost every mainstream diet under the sun. While the anti inflammatory diet and simply sticking to Whole Foods helped me lose nearly 75 pounds (and counting,) carnivore provided me with added health benefits and root-cause healing as an added benefit. Of course with some weight-loss as well. I’m documenting my journey here on KZitem as I cycle through animal based diets all year long❤

Hi, I don't have same health issue as you(thank you for sharing), but one of my health problems is called Precordial Catch Syndrome. After many years I found that going off gluten helped a lot with this, and then going carnivore I realised it was caused by carbs all along. I was on ketovore 3 months and strict carnivore last 2 weeks.

What an inspiration!! I too have MS. I also lost my husband in July and have been mourning him and been just plain sad and lonely. I ate crap trying to make myself feel better but that doesn’t work. With my emotions so low along with Widow brain (brain fog) and then all that crap I ate giving me weight gain, headaches I needed a change. I thought if I felt great again then maybe I wouldn’t hit those sad times so much. I was worried that the diet might induce a relapse but clearly your better. It give me hope. I just want to feel physically better and maybe emotionally with have improvement. Thanks.

You may slip and go back from time to time, but each time should reinforce that the other foods are not worth it. I just went to lunch and had nothing to do - I ate some ice cream. It was so not worth it. Why did I do that?! IDK. I only know I wasted $5 and now my stomach feels yucky and I wish I could get it out! Old habits die hard. I've been at this for only four month and feel great when I am following carnivore properly. I have lost 35 lbs and all my biometric markers are great.

I was bedbound with ME/CFS during my 50's and had to give up my Masters degree because of the fatigue and brain fog. I went keto/ carnivore accidentally (because I diidn't have the energy to cook!) but now, at 64, I am no longer bedbound and can be outside with my horses once more. I feel significantly better on OMAD carnivore.

I am so joyful to hear how the carnivore diet is rescuing your health and well being. You were expressing with some emotion why you have been given this second chance to health. My husband is a carnivore, and I'm considering it seriously. We are both Christians; in fact my husband is a Pastor. I can tell you with certainty that your feelings of gratitude and your wondering why you are so fortunate, is the Lord trying to speak to your heart and saying, "It's Me that has rescued you and has given you this second chance to a better health and life. But if you seek me out and come to me as your Savior and Lord, you will have life, health, and feelings of joy...even for eternity with Me; and not just a better life on earth." I felt, seeing your sweet heart of gratitude, and wondering why you had been given this second chance with your heart wrenching diagnosis of MS. The Lord will be the crown and glory of your new-found better life. Jesus said, " I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father but by Me." John 14:6. Best to you and so thankful to hear of your amazing improvements...Jim and Hope Vail USA, BAKER, FLORIDA ✝️🌿❤️🙏

I can relate so hard to much of what you spoke about. The chronic illness, the fatigue, the memory coming back, getting your life back, being a nervous wreck, the anxiety that never leaves etc but most of all what a difference carnivore makes. I’m so much calmer too, no brain fog, fatigue gone, energy up, looking and feeling healthier the list is endless. Subscribed.

Love your natural way of presenting, so refreshing. I am carnivore but occasionally have a smidge of clean veg, handful of macadamia nuts or pine nuts, avocado, or a couple of tablespoons of passata on a carnivore pizza. Really rare so I do consider myself carnivore. Keep the faith, this way of eating will pull you through. I love carnivore, I don’t waste any food, I eat once a day for the most part. Shopping easy, prepping is easy, cooking so simple- salt and pepper a piece of pork or steak or chicken thighs and put in the air fryer. My journey was entirely for health but I am pleased to be lighter than I have been since teens is a bonus. I’m 66 and my skin doesn’t fit but that doesn’t bother me much. My heaviest was around 11 stone and I am now Just under 9 so I haven’t been huge but the elasticity isn’t there any more, but it’s not why I’m doing it. I just want a long healthspan and to die old and healthy. Been eating this way for years, and I love it.

I'm so happy for you. Isn't it awesome to finally discover the missing puzzle pieces that was right before us all along. So bad the education we were taught regards food and health growing up. Now we know, and now we grow and now we can help others too. Keep going strong and become even better. Why would anyone of us go back to ill health once we discover the truth about the proper human diet?

Im on day 28 , and i can relate . Keep going , you will truly see what this way of eating will do for you after 3 -4 months ! You may have ketones, but still may not be fat adapted yet ! ..it takes anywhere from 2 - 4 months to be fat adapted ! .we are all different . Some a little quicker some a little longer . When traveling eat pepperoni and cheddar pacs ! Every gas station has em ! Coffee with triple cream no sugar ! ..and salt your food generously and drink more water ! The ket isca natural diuretic. We all hold around 4-5 lbs of water in our glycogen stores , when we go low carb or no carb , then we lose that 5 lbs in first week ! So salt , and water and electrolytes. Eat avacados 1 - 2 a day . Very high in potassium. Eat bacon , butter eggs , salmon , lard for frying , avacado, some greens are ok , ground beef is the bomb ! 😅 and message if ya have any questions ! I also did this a year ago for 4 months, but gave in too a pizza a friend got 😅. But finally got back in 27 days ago . This time going all the way ! Hey good luck ! 😊

You look good, not just physically, radiating relief and excitement. I’ve been dabbling with it on and off after a TBI from boxing. Everytime I go back, joint pain disappears, tinnitus gets better, energy improves, depression goes away…but my brainwashed intellectualization about what my body needs, guilts me back to carbs and veggies. But the answer is clear. the only thing I’d say, sometimes is sleep will take a hit and some bowel movement in-continuity

Think of this as a longlife way of eating with ocassional treats or at least adopt a ketovore way of eating. I also thought it was a temporary thing but after 3 months, I am not going back willingly, my taste buds have changed so much that my cravings are for fatty meat and very seldom for carbohydrates. I hope the best for you.

I hope you stick with PHD, you & your skin are glowing. I’m feeling so very much better since I started it (been doing OMAD for about 2 yrs altho I occasionally lapse). I’m down 45lbs and no longer on any prescription drugs. Was vegetarian 30 yrs…my health was getting worse & weight going nowhere but up. Maybe I’m sensitive to oxalates but PHD eliminates them and the inflammation from grains, sugar, and all the weird garbage in processed foods. Cheers, dear!
