Beautiful presentation. Love a host that is passionate and who's not afraid to get in the thick of things 🏆 A few other interesting "morsels" about the lotus is it's food value. The roots are an important food in many different Asian cuisines, as well as the lotus seeds, which were a popular candied or roasted snack back in ancient times. Amazing that it's more closely related to a tree than the water lily 😲

What a brave natural lady, just giving herself to the fascination of living things! What a world apart from the daily money grabbing activities that we all have to follow, to one degree or another, to "get by". So, there is music, and art in general, to make us into wholesome, complete human beings. And then, in the same framework of being complete sentient beings, comes the understanding and admiration of life on this earth. This is a form of art!

Interesting how the lotus stigma cone its root both look so similar, with the holes dotted throughout. And of course the lotus foliage resembles giant nasturtium..
