This beautiful song is dedicated to My Sister Louise. She just passed away @ 2;30 pm today. I played this son g for her @ 11:00 am this morning and she remembered the song and told me several times that she loves me and that will be “ always and forever be loved.” I’m in shock! Good bye Big Sister❤️❤️🌷

I am 73 years old and some years ago I decided to coach my sons little league team. I was only going to do it one year. I ended up coaching the same boys each summer for six years. I watched them grow from kids trying to learn to play baseball to a team that went 33 and 1 in our last year of baseball. It was without a doubt the best time of my life. I love every one of them to this day. Their all grown and every one of them ended up with good lives , married with kids that play little league today. Couldn't have been any better . I thank the Lord for those times.

Dear Carole King, Your art is part of the soundtrack of my life. So many songs for so many years reverberating in my heart. A lifetime of magic and feelings that will transcend my time and will eternally echo in the consciousness of so many of us that grew up, and remain, with you. For all the years and in all your music there has always been something new discovered and felt with every new song or any new version that you sing. Somehow, incredibly, I missed one song---until last year. One beautiful October morning on my way to a family gathering, I heard my zenith: “Now and Forever”. A few days ago I hear it again in your most heartfelt interpretation and most comforting rendition. I cried again, and again. I lost my wife on September 18 of 2013, instantaneously, in a massive heart attack. We were soul mates for 29 years. We have a son and a daughter---God bestowed upon us two loving human beings. There are no greater blessings than these. You say it and sing it divinely: “We had a moment, just one moment… That will last beyond a dream, beyond a lifetime… We are the lucky ones… Some people never get to do all what we got to do… Now and forever, I will always think of you. “ I will still cry every time I hear your song. Even though I will forever think of her, I will carry on with a lighter heart and an even more grateful soul. Thank you for all your music, thank you for all your magic. With Love & Gratitude 🙏🙏🙏 Carlos

I very proudly served in the Marine Corps as a Woman Marine (this is not my account, btw), back in the late 1970's/early 80's. This song has always spoken to me about that time. Yes, we were the lucky ones, and "so many folks never got the chance to do the things we got to do". The lyrics of the entire song are so true to my heart and soul about the friends I had then and after, and all of the great times we shared. Yes, now and forever, I will always think of those great women and people I had the privilege of serving with. Semper Fi.

When we won the football championship in '94 this was the ending song on our highlight film. It played along with a montage of still pictures of the team. It was really touching. Even for a group of high school boys. Some 30 plus years later it still fits those times like a glove. Add in love gained and lost as an adult and it hits even harder now.

It’s like the song was written for me and my son. I know that sounds arrogant because I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels this way. My son died three years ago, this Friday; March 3, 2020. He was autistic, high functioning with a wide eyed wonder of the word. He never met a stranger. One morning, after he passed, I woke humming this tune. I couldn’t remember who sang it, but I was pretty sure it was a Carol King song. So, I went through songs that weren’t familiar to me from Carol King and there it was. I truly believe that Kaleb (my son) sent it to me. Everything in this songs rings true for us. I felt so blessed. For almost 26 years, it was just him and me. He was my happy place. He brought me such joy, laughter and pride. He had such a depth of compassion and enthusiasm for life. Something that Heaven will appreciate. I love and miss you, sweetheart. 🌹❤️💔❤️💔🌻💛
