Waitress sets the tables, two and four and six Laying placemats, knife, fork, spoon upon napkin All the counter people, she knows us all by name A counter people vision, everywhere we are the same Oh and once everything starts to shift Tip the weight that makes this whole thing give Oh but I don't know where to put my hands And the thought of silence makes me sick Hey, I think it might be getting to me Hey, I think it might be finally getting to me Hey, I think it might be, finally getting to me Hey, I think it might be, finally getting to me All of the pretty people are out here The women with their jewels and their long dangling earrings And the men with one hand on the small of her back The other casually with his thumb through the belt loop of his waistband And so you line 'em up A single cell and another one gone Ostracon vase with your name on the line And so you line 'em up A single cell and another one gone Ostracon vase with your name on the line Hey, I think it might be getting to me Hey, I think it might be finally getting to me Hey, I think it might be, finally getting to me Hey, I think it might be, finally getting to me

idk why but this song stuck with me out of all the others in the album. i literally have it as my alarm. it's got something so melancholic about it... can't put my finger on it

Lovely song. Playful and poignant at the same time. Reminiscent of Suzanne Vega, Kate Bush, and Kristin Hersh. We need more of this! Instantly one of my favorite songs of the year.

At Riot Fest I saw CR and the band perform this. I had Aviator Shades on. Maybe the drugs or the overpriced beer - but I cried halfway through. Miss Rose - I love your pivot. After discovering you at RF I went deep; and this album blows your other shit out the galaxy. Keep moving; and come back to Chicago please - i'll be there in the crowd, crying over things that I should not cry about.

This has to be *the most beautiful mysterious bass line I’ve ever heard.*. It follows a Golden Ratio pattern it’s so symmetrical. My complements

I realized I was in love with my ex-boyfriend when he was singing the chorus of this song in the car. It wasn't great singing by any means, but it was genuine and carefree and he was so beautiful. I realized I wanted to witness that forever. We broke up due to no other reason than him needing to work on himself. I've been listening to this song and imagining him singing this in the car beside me and I wish everyday that he still was.

great song - but what's with the red and white adidas outfits? is she writing songs between tennis tournaments? that would be cool - but perhaps there's some sort of ironic message going over my head

From what I've seen, that outfit has been present in the most recent music videos. That's all I got.

yeah I think it’s a satirical aesthetic as someone else pointed out. Caroline also said she really likes red and one of her friends is a clothes designer so she just tries out everything for them
