Well done Mr Crow some cracking fish, you deserve that last fish, as with all your catches. We get out of this sport what we put into it. as you got up looked for the fish, so many people just sit there waiting. Really sad to see the big common died, but unfortunately we all get old and have to pass at sometime. Keep up the good work making these blogs.

It's wonderful to see your respect for the fish Simon! Over here in the states idiots just kill them and throw them on the bank. They bow fish them, which I wish was illegal. Just because they're not large mouth bass they're referred to as "trash fish". It's amazing the difference in attitude to a species from one continent to the next. Keep up the outstanding work, you're one of my fishing idols!

You've fished all over the world so you'd know this best. Will carp eat something if they don't know what it is? I ask because I'm in America and I catch nothing on SLK but catfish lol. I catch on maize and fake corn but nothing on boilies.
@SimonCrow
4 жыл бұрын
Of course they will. I’ve seen them take cigarette butts, all sorts of things. SLK or indeed any fishmeal boilie isn’t the best bait choice for a lake containing catfish because they will get to it first. Try tiger nuts on there and they will thin out the cats just the same as maize & corn.
