CQUK has always been good. I agree 3.0 is much user friendly than the previous versions.

I am loving the “CARPRO History” series of videos! This information is valuable for those seeking to learn about the CARPRO products line. I have to say CARPRO UK 3.0 is one of my favorite. It is easy to apply and gives enough time to level/buff the coating. Now, the killer combo is two coats of UK 3.0 with SiC as a topper for that smooth feeling and sleeker finish. I am looking forward to more CARPRO History videos.

UK is my go to coating, especially as a base. Since moving to the southern part of the U.S., I’m glad the changed it the formula so it’s humid area friendly…😊 I get more than 2 years of protection with it as the base coating.

Me too! Soooooo EASY in Florida now.... I swear you can't mess it up. Well, almost. Someone will always prove me wrong :). But leave it on for 30 minutes and STILL I can wipe it off.... insane.

I really like these history videos! Thanks for taking the time to do them. Greatly appreciated. Will CQ UK3.0 work on raw aluminum wheels? Or is a dedicated metal coating a better option for that? Thanks.

Thanks Aaron! I really appreciate that positive feedback! No, with polished aluminum they do not seem to take well to any ceramic coating in our experience. You could TRY a certain product about to be announced at SEMA but I am not sure that will last either on polished aluminum just by the nature of aluminum. I will be testing that as soon as we get our samples of said product ;)

Great video , can I put sic on top of uk 3.0 i put the UK on about a month ago applied 2 coats of UK and 1 coat of Reload what would i need to do ?
@SkyCarCare
11 ай бұрын
Thank you! Now that Reload is applied is it is not optimal to add another coat until you are ready to do a light finishing polish /panel wipe / re-coat BUT if you insist then the the best you could to to prep would be Lift, Descale, IronX, Reset, Eraser, coat. Again, without polishing there is no 100% guarantee that a coating will bond.

Great story! Thanks! How long do you wait between applying another layer? if I do it with about an hour between layers, I feel like I'm "damaging" the first one that hasn't hardened enough yet.

Personally I am a big fan of 1 hour. Anything beyond 90 minutes gets finicky up until a few hours later or more. So between 45-90 minutes or wait until next day but thh next day the first coat seems to reject the second and you have to work it in a bit.

Great video, I've been using the uk+sic combo for over a year and a half and it's been great so far. Hugs
