The kohlrabi recipe in a creamy sauce with lots of crunchy vegetables not only tastes great, this dish is quick and easy to prepare and also looks great. This side dish (also great as a stew) is particularly suitable for your lunch or dinner on hot summer days.
Ingredients for kohlrabi vegetables with potatoes and carrots
1 kg kohlrabi
Approx. 500 g potatoes
Approx. 400 g carrots
200 g cream cheese with fine herbs
2 tbsp cornstarch
Some lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste
½ tsp nutmeg
preparation
1. Wash, peel and cut the kohlrabi and potatoes into small cubes.
2. Peel, clean and slice the carrots.
4. Bring 1/2 L water to the boil. Add chopped vegetables while stirring and simmer briefly.
5. Cover and cook everything over a low heat for about 20 minutes. Season with pepper and a little salt, nutmeg, paprika and parsley.
