This feels like an ad for a vacation company that only sells tickets to send you directly to your childhood home but like exactly as you remember it, not as it might be now.

How in the world did you come up with something so incredibly specific, yet 100% accurate?

i'll never fail to be amazed by how everything you release thematically fits the era of life i'm in. to me, this song is about attaining awareness about the cyclical nature of life, and how there will always be miracles, and tragedy. but rather than trying to prove this, or teach me how to sustain it, i feel like the song is telling me to let go. that enlightenment itself is a cycle, and the meaning of life can only be realized, not remembered. i think this video has the strongest visuals of any track you've uploaded that wasn't a music video. in a very elegant, yet simple way, it's showing nothing but nature moving on. animals hustling about, plants in the breeze, the cosmos in orbit, and imagination flowing. everything is moving past both the pain, and pleasure behind it. it highlights how open the song is to interpretation with its primal message. after watching the video the first time, i saw someone in the comments say it made them feel as though it was being sung from the perspective of a lost loved one, and it changed the entire mood of the song for me without invalidating my own interpretation. i think that's powerful stuff. essentially, if Fly, Balloon! wasn't enough proof My Balloon is no longer falling, then it's here to tell you flat out the string you've been holding onto has carried you with it to a view of the paradise it reaches, and that it's time for you to let go, and move on, until it's your turn to float away. i know i sound silly, overly dramatic, and maybe even delusional, as someone asked me on a comment like this on a different nelward video to share my drugs with them or something (i don't blame them), but i think the analysis of art is important. i want people to think about what nelward makes on a deeper level, so the reach of the content can expand in humanity's awareness, cause i think he's got a lot of good stuff to say. i do totally acknowledge, though, that just as much as this may be a song about enlightenment to me, or a song about a loved one's goodbyes to someone else, it's just as valid to see it as a vague poem about things being alright. and it just sounds so fucking good, like seriously

I used to watch a ton of Animal Planet when I was little because I was obsessed with how big and beautiful the world was. The songs and visuals feel like that whole stretch of time condensed into a video and I'm so touched by it. Absolutely beautiful 🩷🩷🩷
