For those wondering why no on was clapping... Asians are generally not prone to outward displays of anything. Furthermore there is a chance that they've never heard the song and don't realize what they're hearing. Sadly, another reason why they may not be clapping is that they, being Asian, have ridiculously high standards of their children and probably thought the song was either not challenging or her technique was not good.

Jeremy Loh I’m Asian, this is true, and if I were there I’d have internally freaked, but we’d have clapped at least because it’s polite. Also this was amazing. I’m not saying this applies to all Asians, I’m just one person.

I heard clapping. Not much, but I don't know the size of the audience. You made it sound like there was complete silence. Also note that this is basically an advert for Yamaha. They train the kids and organise these informal performances which they make available online. The music is chosen to appeal to young people like us who will then ask their parents for this instrument. So the audience isn't big. Probably at the Yamaha offices.

This looks very much like a recital, where they wheel a whole bunch of kids up on the stage over the course of an hour. Each kid gets the polite parental applause then the next kid is up. I can't imagine there are more than 20 people in that room. I hated going to my daughters' recitals. Wading through a bunch of kids so I could hear my daughter play for two minutes, and every parent thinking the same exact thing.

This has been one of my favorite rock songs since it came out in the 1970s. And I've seen Kansas twice in concert. But I never thought a single keyboard player could pull it off as accurately and impressively as you do did! Great work!

Since the rise of talent shows on tv, you already become a star when you can sing a song with not to many wrong notes. This gril really rocks.
