RJC 2012 works on the "Cleveland Lines" Wooster branch. This line was part of the B&O Millersburg branch running south from Lodi to Millersburg Ohio. Abandonment began in 1928. Lodi to Wooster remained til the 1970's. After that the B&O reached the isolated Wooster segment via running over the PRR Penn Central by then). They would get on at Massilon as RJ Corman does now since Corman has both B&O lines, taken over from CSX in the 1990's. Oddly CSX kept access to the National Lime and Stone unload at the south end of town which they serve by running trains from Spore Quarry NW of Bucyrus over the FTW line.
RJ Corman appears to serve 3 customers on this segment: Frito Lay with vegetable oil tanks and hoppers of ingredients, a transload that appears to handle plastic pellets and a scrap yard. Interestingly their "yard" here consists of a run around track and a wye within the county fairgrounds. After blocking out cars for Frito Lay they ran to the end of the track where that customer is located up on a hill. The engine ran up there lite, pulled down empties, pulled onto the main and allowed the cars to roll on by the engine. I assume they roll far enough for the crew to get the fresh cars to the customer but my batteries were exhausted so I moved on. Not to mention the crew was a bit surly that their engine got tagged the night before and cops/management was hanging around. This engine caught fire a few weeks later and was put out of its misery.
