The highly requested cart full tutorial. I haven't watched other people's cart full tutorials so don't know how they teach it. This and my other tutorials are all done in a way how I personally feel is the best way to teach these tricks to beginners and more advanced trickers. The way I teach cart full here is suitable to anyone without much acrobatic background. If you are coming from for example trampoline or tumbling background you might have a different learning curve because you can already flip. Still this way will also be suitable to you so don't worry. It's important to get used to all axis' when learning tricking. Also, remember that it takes time and effort to learn!

I haven't trained in probably over a decade because I'm old now, but my god this is the most beautiful cart full I have ever seen. It's amazing how much more sophisticated and accessible tutorials have gotten for tricks, especially since the Tricks Tutorials days that were about 20(!) years ago when I had first gotten into tricking.

It's a hard one to teach. You gotta somehow just learn to twist at a safe environment. I learned it on tramp 10 years ago and ever since then I have been able to just twist very naturally.

I see there are many different ways of doing a cartwheel. Some people snap their leg together with the feet facing the direction they came from, very similarly to a round off. Other people land more with one lag at a time, feet more sideways or even turning in the direction of the twist already. Some bend a lot their arms, others not at all ... I wonder what's best
@johzuke1
4 жыл бұрын
For me this tech has always been the best. I would go with the tech that feels the best to you although I feel like spread ing the legs looks the best too. We just want that our cartwheels are fast and quite low so we can use the momentum to gain power and height through blocking.

thank you so much for this tutorial ! personally I've some trouble with the transfer just after the cartwheel, I haven't enough power for dub full. Just I have a question, you use a lot of power in your cartwheel dub full or it's almost the same than the cart full ?
@johzuke1

Yeah dubs need a bit more jumping power, although I can do both with equal amount of jumping, my fulls don't require it.

The movement looks like a btwist though. Is the set up pretty much the same like a cartwheel into a btwrist
@johzuke1
21 күн бұрын
@@LYCANCLANTEAM cart full is the same amount of rotation as cart to b-twist. Only difference is the takeoff (two legged on cart full vs single leg on b-twist) and the level of inversion in most cases although cart full can be done on same axis as b-twist but b-twist can't be fully inverted since then it becomes an A-twist.

Your right, by biggest problem is the cartwheel in the trick. I do the cartwheel, but then at the end of the cartwheel, I land in a squat position because I push my legs to far out and in a line going down. I can’t seem to fix this problem, and my cartwheels give my no power and effect my tech for the full. Any tips?

Are yousaying i don't need to even have a cart front ?
@johzuke1
4 жыл бұрын
Good question. The answer is no you don't but you should. Not having the cart front before cart full is possible but makes it hard to then learn the cart front later because you are used to twisting.
@pablorc8091
4 жыл бұрын
Also if I may add something. Once you learn Cart Full, don't stop doing Cart Fronts. I made that mistake, didn't do Cart Fronts for months until for some reason I wanted to do it again. I lost the move and kept doing a cart full with a super late twist on most attempts..
@johzuke1

It's extremely common to lose the cart front and it's really a pain in the ass! Definitely a must to keep drilling it!

I really dislike my cart full because my legs aren't completely straight in the cart. Hard to explain in text but they tuck in slightly and it's not pretty. It'll take a lot of conscious repetitions to correct it.

That's a lot Johannes for the cartwheel full tutorial it was great Uhm since you said we can ask Uhm May I ask ? Once i get the eagle position right , then how do I swing through , I'm also asking if you have a "How to dub full tutorial" by any chance WANTED to know if you could
@johzuke1
4 жыл бұрын
When you are able to land in an eagle it's time to start figuring out how not to put the other foot down and how to swing it through. Again little by little. About the dub full. It's a very hard one to teach because you just need to somehow learn to keep your body straight and tight. And for that you need an environment where you don't hurt yourself when falling.

Yeah this way even someone who has never done a backflip can learn it through hard work 😁 The Btwist one is interesting because I personally find it a lot harder to cart Btwist than full. Still it could work but you also gotta unlearn the one leg takeoff. My way pop is used since the beginning 👍🏻

Some very helpful tip from me is to avoid bending the torso at all times in the full. Usually, people expose their ribs when they try to flip harder, but it only makes it worse
@johzuke1
4 жыл бұрын
Good point. Back should always stay very neutral. The bend during the eagle comes from hips, not from the back/torso 👍🏻
