@MINI Nope that's just how they draft the voices before April comes in to do the female parts. You can easily just look at her interviews, and the fact that she's credited on every show, on Imdb, and wikipedia. She also does the voices for the games. I understand the misunderstanding seeing as they raise the tones in post for the kids voices and keep it that way. If I wasn't aware of April's role I also would've assumed Trey voiced Liane.

I've read one of Cesar Millan's books and I also teach kindergartners, so I've read a lot of classroom management books. The similarities are striking :D, haha. It really all comes down to the parent/teacher showing authority and not giving into the demands of a child, in much the same way a dog owner needs to be the "pack leader". People mistakenly think it's about dominance and being super strict, but really it's about being consistent and nurturing. Kids (and dogs) feel safer and less anxious when they know the rules and know that the rules are going to be consistently and fairly upheld.
@marymaurene1105
4 жыл бұрын
I'm a kindergarten teacher too.. totally agree! Children and dogs need structure and engagement. Usually the dominance from a child comes in when when there is too much attention given which leads to manipulation. Misbehaviours usually happens when there is neglect bcoz children want to get their parents attention and love. They always say, when raising puppies, we need to control their environment. I think thats how for kids too.. we need to have rules to set the limitations of the environment. I agree that rules also make a secured and safe place where children and dogs can explore, have fun and be engaged. I also believe that when young, children dont purposely misbehave. Sometimes it started with a small "accidental misbehaviour", but nobody followed through so they learned to continue the behaviour. That's why it is so true to be consistent and be assertive.

The only person to train Cartman successfully is the one guy who did it through ignoring him while training, the nannies gave Cartman attention while trying to deal with him and it ended with one being horribly offended and the other ending up insane, but then Cartman is trained through being ignored, and BOOM, a good outcome Also, Cartman is just so evil that when he finally becomes good, his body literally goes to war with itself

So was it cartmans plan to act like hes behaving but really tricking his mum, or is it that his mum is the reason hes spoilt in the first place?
@Shanethefilmmaker
4 жыл бұрын
Considering how much he lost weight and brushed his teeth on impulse when he clearly didn't want to, I'd say that it would have worked had she not spoil him. But to put things in perspective, Cartman's Mom has lead a very complicated lonely life. One that she tried to fill in her youth with Sex, Drugs and Alcohol. She had no true friends and craved any kind of affection that was given to her. As a result when she had Cartman, she did what she could to be friends with him when she should have been a parent to him. Spoiling him and only laying down the law when he goes too far. But after the whole ordeal with Dog Whisperer, while she ruined what would have been an easy way to fix her son, she became more confident, refusing to take any of Cartman's shit.

Its actually a satire of the oedipus complex. Basically, the mother is lonely and uses the child as their only source of interaction. In order for the child to comply, the mother bribes him and strips away the child's independence. Super clever!

@@Shanethefilmmaker I agree, definately the mum. Plus if you go back to the scene where Eric is just about to murder his mum and his inner consciousness goes into a clash within himself to the point where he becomes sick, Eric really was on the verge of changing to being a good person. But of course, this is South Park we're talking about. The mum was never gonna change.

Honestly the ending isn't as "maniacal" as they make it seem. Cartman just realizes that his mother is lonely and that no matter who tries to help Cartman, the problem is with his mothers loneliness and spoiling him to get his attention. She just needs a husband man😔

Point of this episode is that if a young kid behaves badly and doesnt listen, its the parents fault for not teaching them any discipline but rather enabling them. Usually because the parent is the one requiring attention and affection from the kid. Parents wake the F up. Stop ruining your kids.
