Every year i waterjet carve a pumpkin, and every year i am disappointed with the fact that the back of the pumpkin is completely blown out. this year, i used one of my big band saws to cut it in half first. then water jetting each half separately, gave me the results i wanted.... and a new problem, figuring out how to put it back together. solved it with a few tooth picks!
how long it took to do:
sawing in half - 10 secs
water jetting each half - about 2 mins each side
putting back together - less than a min
so this is my 5min pumpkin carving, for someone with little time to spare.. that s just about the right amount of time. i didn't have enough time this year to design 2 new patterns so i recycled some of my previous patterns... lets see if anyone notices.
