That's Bitchen Spike! I have a dead Allepo Pine trunk in my backyard -- and I'm sure there's a MoeEye inside, I just have to let him out with out sacrificing my soul or losing a fnger from a powertool.

Why the burning? I've never seen an explanation.

Burning removes the soft wood. After scrubbing, the grain raises up. It gives it a more organic appearance.
