Thank you so much for posting. I am working on this Kata in the Tracy System (Kata 8) while there all very small differences your explanations are so very helpful.

You should be commended for your generosity in sharing with the kenpo familjy- this is by far the best teaching video for form 4 on you tube because of your willingness to take treat the public as equals and not hide behind sales ploys to induce the full story. It is laid out there with no qualifications- kudos to you.

This video has been awesome in helping me prepare for my upcoming black belt test. This is one of the most challenging forms I've had to learn, which also makes it the most rewarding. Excellent work on this video, especially the way you broke down each section for both execution and rationale. I'll be referring many of our students to this as an invaluable resource. Keep up the great work.

Your technique, variants of technique, and explanations are suffused with the fluid power, precision and expert knowledge of the martial adept. Far too often insufficiently skilled, ignorant men christen themselves with grandiose martial titles which they use to hide their insecurity, lack of expertise, and bilk the public. Hella glad to see that CASA DE KENPO is a real deal home of truly skilled kenpo.

The form itself is good, very detailed and executed with good style. This you will learn from any one, BUT What has impressed me is the detailed walkthrough coming from the instructor. Not only does he tell us the technique used, but where at in the belt system it is found. Plus the explanation of the opponent as you strike them. This is a Kenpo Instructor any one who wants to learn needs to go and talk to. I am 7 Star Mantis Gung Fu but also like Kenpo. This guy I would seek to learn from.

Katas are restrictive. Bruce Lee called them 'organized despair'. There is no freedom of expression within form based marital arts. This does not mean his followers don't practice proper technique... Still I salute you. You're definitely a quality instructor unlike most dimestore schools. I studied TQD under Neil Wilson JKD under Dale Olsen and Kenpo under Master Frank Daniels and his son Raymond who is a world champion many times over and your expertise certainly matches theirs... After 35 years in MA one year with Sifu Dale made all else pale in comparison.

Keep your fingers together and your mouth closed when you chew. Brush up and down not sideways. Look both ways before you cross the street. Always wear clean underwear. Dont stick pennies in the light socket. And never-never eat yellow snow especially on the STREETZ. LOL criticism every where with no videos of them doing kenpo. Kudos for putting yourself out there risking criticism to contribute to the art

I hope that you were doing this sloppy on purpose. As a 3rd brown in Parker kenpo even I know that you should keep your fingers closed while using your hand as a weapon among other things that I noticed that I won't mention.

Never have I seen someone so competent at terrible bullshit. With this coordination you would do well in some actual martial arts, not Ed Parker's bullshido. Perhaps you would even get a brown belt in shotokan

Not much kicking in this style..a lot of groin strikes lol, which to me is a cheap shot, just like a sucker punch... like the hand strikes..this guy not good explaining forms.. you need to do step by step slow motion, slow motion!...
