Hey girl! I know how you feel about wanting to just pay off your car. Car payments are so annoying lol! If I were you, I'd wait until you are closer to paying off your car (maybe 2-3 months left) then if you still feel like pulling all your emergency funds/savings to pay for the remaining then do it. To go 6 months+ without savings or emergency funds is really scary. But that's just me lol! 😅

Hi Maddie! I really appreciate this approach! I completely agree with you that not having savings/efund to fall back on is terrifying 😣 I might just put a little bit of my savings towards paying the debt down and keep my efund intact until I'm close to paying the car off completely like you said. thank you so much for sharing!!

Hey girl ❣️ great stuffing video 💕 I feel you on having a car payment 😫 mine is $820 a month and it hurts every-time I pay it 😭 but then I’d rather have a car payment then to wipe out my little savings because we never know 🙌🏽

That is smart! Don't let anyone tell you to put all your money toward debt. Put your extra, after sinking funds, toward debt. We followed that "gazelle intensity debt repayment" advice, and had three or four huge things happen one after the other one summer (bed bug treatments over $2k, a/c went kaput, lawnmower broke down, and washer/dryer needing replacement). We just ended up in more debt. Future debt prevention is more important than paying off current debt in a matter of months. It's ok to go a little slower and be able to sleep easy knowing you can handle an emergency.

thank you for sharing lizz!! really appreciate your perspective and I agree - you can never know when you'll find yourself in an emergency so I think I'll keep the e-fund and maybe just put my savings towards the debt for now! 💞 rooting for us both to pay those cars off! 💪🏻

hey ari !! I loved the cash stuffing and seeing the happy mail. There are ao many CUTEE binders / wallets. In terms of paying off the car, from my own personal experience I would recommend waiting because as soon as I didn’t have an emergency fund I had an emergency that sent me further into debt. I would either just continuing to budget to pay it off quicker or take only some of the emergency fund like ($250) to help you get to your goal a little faster. I hope this helps 💗☺️

girl I totally feel you - I feel like I always had an emergency expense when my efund didn't exist (prior to me cash stuffing consistently lol). after reading everyone's suggestions, I'm leaning towards using $1k from savings and keeping the efund entirely. I really appreciate your insight, thank you!! 💞

Your binder from Mary is beautiful!! I’m saving up to get some too ❤️ I think you should pay off your car when you can. Interest on car payment is crazy lol. It would be one less loan you would have to worry about. Once you’re done with the car loan, you can focus on emergency & savings. ❤️

Beautiful binder! I also feel that I can’t keep up with the home, over budget and miscellaneous envelopes lol. I want them up to $100 but it’s impossible 😂 we went to a big park with some friends for 4th of july but I don’t like fireworks cuz of the doggies :( If I were you, I’d put all the money to pay the car debt and start over for emergency and savings. Also just in case you have an emergency, you could use all the money from your binders
