Ingredients
5 Boiled eggs
3 tbsp oil
4 inch cinnamon
4 cloves
5 Green Cardamon
1 tsp cumin seeds
2 bay leaf
2 medium size onions
2 green chilies
½ cup Cahewnut paste (15 nos)
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp red chili powder
1 tbsp garam masala
1 tbsp coriander powder
2 tbsp curd
1 tbsp salt
½ cup Water
Method
Boil the eggs for 10 to 12 minutes and peel off the skin. Keep it aside
Soak the Cashewnuts in hot water for 15 minutes
To make the cashew paste, add it in a mixer jar along with few drops of water and blend it into a smooth paste.
In a kadai heat the oil, add the cinnamon, cloves, bay leaf, green cardamom, cumin seeds , let them release their aromas…
Then add the chopped onions and saute well for 7 minutes , add few drops of water to saute the onions
Add the ginger garlic paste and saute until the raw smell goes off
Now add the cashewnut paste and mix well
Add the turmeric powder, red chili powder, Garam masala, coriander powder and mix well
Add ½ cup water( 75 ml to 100 ml ) to the masala and cook for 2 to 3 minutes
Add the salt and silted green chilies and mix well
Add the curd and mix well
Close it with a lid and cook for ten minutes
Now add the boiled eggs to the gravy and mix well
Cook for 2 to 3 minutes and switch off the stove
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves
Serve it hot with rotis or dosai
