The Ross County police record shows that he has been under investigation for the last year for "pandering obscenity with the intent to buy, procure, and possess obscene materials involving a juvenile." This arrest could be connected to that investigation.

Congrats to the USBC for taking the lefties out of the tournament. Now 5 in the top 24 and the are falling like rocks. Strange but the pattern was different on the left than the right. The first block of match play the righties had a 10 pin advantage per game, and the second block was even more. Seems fair to me. 🤔

Good bowling gents on tuff conditions, ^5! Along with oil-pattern ball reactions it looked to me like Olde Skool pin reactions, aka heavier wood, vs modern standard. I'd guess 3lb 8oz, maybe even 3lb 10 oz. Do you know what the weight of the pins used is, Packy? Tnx.

I know it's such an overdone conversation but I really feel that two hand bowling isn't such a large advantage. At the very highest level, pros are getting about the same revs, speed, and power out of the ball. The two best bowlers currently are split between a two hander (Simo) and a one hander (Tackett)
@douglasiles2024
7 ай бұрын
Going down the list of the guys consistently at the top, it's close to a 50-50 split. Troup, Simo, Belmo, Svensson, Tackett, O'Neill, Smallwood, Barrett. It comes down to personal preference more than anything else.
@thecarrotsarecoming4711

@@douglasiles2024 Agreed. I think bowling isn't about power and revs, its about accuracy.

If I was placing a bet right now - Simo vs Belmo, final two. Anthony for the win.
@admyank
8 ай бұрын
So Belmo is correct. You guys are missing your potential because you don't see the full view. The full view is this - you ALL try to throw the ball harder or get a higher rotation and you get frustrated when you go brooklyn. All of you move over one board or three boards, yadda yadda. Here's the deal. Move forward on the approach six inches if it is going brooklyn, and if it is not making it to the pocket move back. Bowling is a game of physics and geometry. So throwing it harder only wears you out more - when it is foward and backwards dance movement with going one board left or right. Try it - trust me.
