@@TheTruth70777 Hmm that's a very tricky question. The old Casios were weak in that department. The CTK4000 and onwards had some good sawtooth sounds. They started about 20 years ago so not exactly vintage though. Going back to the early 90's, the CTK670 is a classic that I love, it's worth a look :)

Hmm I think it was 9 volts, DC, centre-negative plug. It's just as cheap to get a multi-adapter though. You can buy them from electronics stores, very handy thing to have in your house!

I put a sustain pedal but what it does is damp the sound instead of sustain it. What should I do

Turn it off, put your foot on the pedal, then turn on again. Hopefully that'll reset it.

I still have mine! I’ll try to explain the process in the simplest way I possibly can. You just need to select any of the numbers between 50-54 in the song bank so that the keyboard knows you are wanting to record your own thing. Then you need to press the button labeled “song memory”. You should see “song memory” pop up on your keyboard screen. Then you need to press that same button again. At this point you should see the “song memory” words on the screen start blinking as well as the hands on the screen too. Now here’s the easy part. You select whichever tone you want to record with, and then press play. You should hear a metronome count you in when you do this. And that’s all there is to it!! Enjoy!

Mostly just the normal second hand gear sites like Ebay and Gumtree. One tiny secret: There's a big warehouse in my town that rescues things from the dump and sells them cheap. Keyboards appear quite regularly, with a surprisingly good rate of perfect functionality. Such waste!! GF

Gearfacts true. A furniture store jus round corner to me gave me this kids toy keyboard. For sketching out tunes its brill. Sounds crappy but its instantly on and ready to go before i lose the ear worm in my head!!!
