Love this watch - one of my favourites. I love the single press timer 🤩 Thanks for the 3 year review!

The vibe alarm should be a standard on all G-Shock models.

Vibration feature is also available on the smaller, still exceptional $30 Casio non-G Shock W735H series. It’s a nice feature to have, Agree.

This G-shock served you well for the first 3 years. I have a square GMW5610 and it's now three years old and similar daily heavy usage means it's marked up too and still going strong - I am quite attached to it. Do you ever use yours now it's 'retired'? I think the reason Casio don't put vibe alarms on their more expensive models is because, being Tough Solar, maybe there would be an issue with power. The audio alarms on even the G Premiums I've experienced, it's way too quiet for me.

Super-helpful video. Nice to have a review with some usage behind it. Hard usage, too. Been almost a year since your vid. Is it still going strong?

I just bought one from Amazon Australia. I want the 5 vibration alarms. My main concern is that it will look chunky on my small wrist during summer.

It's a plastic screen... the little molten pieces of metal from grinding or welding will obviously burn and pit the surface of it. They do offer g-shocks with Sapphire crystals, which could stand up to the "Sparks" from grinding, but you'd also be wearing a $300+ watch to grind/weld, or just work in general in. Either take your watch off to grind things, or deal with consequences. It's a sub $80 watch, and you're talking about "screen strength", when you already have features would normally run well over $150??? You could always buy a timex weekender. They come in a variety of colors, but do have an easy to read version (black numerals and white face), it has a mineral Crystal, so it should stand up to grinding a bit better, and should you break the watch, it only costs around $25, not $75 like the g-shock you're wearing while grinding now.

This watch like all g shocks does have a hardened mineral crystal.

You owned this watch for 3 years plus the 2 years since the video was made and you don't know if you press RESET and START together in world time it brings you back to UTC time, and from there you can count up or down? Great video BTW. I took those flaps off my watch because it made the watch uncomfortable and so I can feel the vibrating alarm better.

It is not made thick because you keep knocking it. It`s made thick because it is a g-shock. I have one
