Love the video, Terry! I love all the military stuff. Really nice to see the different models of, basically, the same vehicle.

These do look great. At first glance you really wouldn't think they are brick models. Have you seen my model of a Willy's Jeep? It's actually 1:20 scale! 😁

Another great review video Terry. A very interesting wander through the history of the different types over the years, a first for me. Given the different versions, I'm not sure how many parts would be common but could see the seats and gun mounts were the same. Amazing how a bit of glazing makes such a difference!
@Terrys-Steam-and-Cobi
26 күн бұрын
Thanks Steve. I imagine there were numerous interchangeable parts. I think the differences were superficial and small improvements made by Ford. It reminds me of the Bombardier Iltis still in service when I was in the Army reserves. The engine parts were often tapped with extra bolt holes to accept a part from other NATO vehicles such as starting motors and such. Yep. The glazing really works. I may get a duplicate from Craig and weather it to see what happens.

Such iconic vehicles and Cobi have done them proud. I think my favourite is the original Willys Jeep. They do make a very good flat car load. You know appart from the brick parts in the back area its hard to tell they are brick models. Very nice. I like them a lot.😃

Too much stuff going on. I actually had an Evening off tonight so thought I'd watch a few Videos and Comment. Man really should make a runway with tracks leading there, sort of like the IRL apeldale railway (It's narrow gauge btw) where they meet up with other WW1 Vehicle owners, and run them
@Terrys-Steam-and-Cobi

@@Dominic_Kim- a good suggestion. I am eyeing a different spot to build a small O gauge layout and can incorporate those ideas. The problem in my current layout room is the with limited space I must pull a work bench out from under one side to do modelling work on. Also, when I have another person in there and we are both running live steam we need a table in the middle for our steam supplies and do dads. Lol
