You remember INCORRECTLY. It was probably COD LIVER oil, NOT castor oil. Castor oil is HIGHLY laxative. If you had been given castor oil, you would have ended up hospitalized, because you would have spent the ENTIRE school day running back and forth to the bathroom to poop until your guts were hanging out. Cod Liver Oil was a COMMON remedy for children. It comes from FISH and has OMEGA-3-fatty acids which have a lot of benefits and CAN be taken every day. It was especially given to children during the winter months, My grandmother gave my brother, sister and me castor oil every spring. One tablespoon followed by eating an orange to avoid throwing it up. We had to stay close to home and couldn't go out to play on those INTERNAL "spring cleaning" days. It wasn't done more than once a week and ONLY on Friday nights, so we could function the next day doing our chores.

It's all truth! But... If you beat castor oil with aloe gel (97-100%) well (until it becomes a white cream) in a ratio of about 1:1, then this mixture, even if it gets into your eyes, does not sting (on the contrary, it gives a pleasant sensation of soft moisture), and is incomparably useful for your skin and hair. Let me tell you (but this is not advice, just my experience) that every morning after washing I apply this cream to my face and... just a little bit to my eyeball too! I am 80 years old and I almost never wear glasses (only for reading), my astigmatism has not gone away yet, but it has greatly decreased. I do not keep any other medications in the house and have not been treated by doctors for the last 60+ years and I even treat my cats myself.

@@CamsPurpleCorner But the secret of my health is in another "egg"! Thank you very much! I'm just not afraid to live! Moreover, I adore Life in everything! Especially animals! All of them! Unfortunately, not everyone is around, but those who are around are my best friends. And I never think about the danger of getting sick, that is, when people constantly hear about dangerous diseases (COVID!!!!), they have no chance to do without them, they include diseases in the inevitable component of Life. I don't do this. I categorically reject everything that spoils the Joy of Life. Including vaccinations against Covid. Eat more onions - hold the onion cut for salad for 10-15 minutes (while you cut other ingredients) in apple cider vinegar, then put it in the salad - the onion loses its pungency, becomes almost sweet, but no infection can withstand it. Be happy and healthy! The happiness of living is the key to health!

@@natalyamarkow5958 when you say that you apply a little to your eyeballs, do you mean on the outside on your eyelids, or do you actually apply it to your eyeballs? And do you use aloe Vera gel from fresh leaves?
@natalyamarkow5958
3 ай бұрын
@@ravangradravangrad266 I apply this mixture to the open eyeball with one condition - you need to beat this mixture well so that the oil completely dissolves with the aloe jelly. If you don't do this, the castor oil will show itself and sting a little, but of course not like pure oil. I just beat the mixture on my palm with my finger for about 1 minute, you get a white cream, like whipped cream. I buy ready-made Aloe jelly at the drugstore (98-100%). Try it once, just a little bit (with clean hands, of course) and see for yourself that it is very pleasant for the eyes!
