I did the same thing and had to put a couple drops of Sauderto seal the crack! The worst part was draining all the fluid out and back in . I had fun getting all the air out. I replaced there hoses with high pressure braided hoses! Thanks for the videos my friend! Watching from Florida

It’s a leaky beast but I think I’m getting close to getting the leaks at least slowed down. The hoses were the worst material plus bad solder joints. I’m almost done with the rebuild. Thanks for watching!

It looks like the forks can flip up out of the way and the skewer's would be used as bale spears! Kind of a pallet fork bale spears combo!

I think welding or brazing is decent but even compression fittings are decent found in most plumbing applications as well. Propane fittings also can work in fitment. Teflon tape as a sealer. On threads.

How is this compare to the 4200xl in power? Is this excavator more powerful? Do you have many problems with this one?
@digitrc
11 ай бұрын
This 6015B weighs at least 4 times s as much as the 4200xl and so it has the weight to make its power useful. So yes it is more powerful than the 4200xl. The biggest problems with it is it leaks bad. I’ve had to replace all the hydraulic lines on this particular model. It also does not like to side slope, it will throw the track. Other than that it’s fantastic.

I’ve seen ware and tear on cars but I think the ease of bending and shaping these lines connecting them would work easily?

Did you ever fix the hydraulic lines? I thought if you had a flaring tool you possibly could use standard brake lines with your hydraulic cylinders so you could tighten them real good ?

With this heavy machine, a big ripper would be awesome!!! I like to showcase what operators could expect the machine to do stock in unprepared soil.

Which scale is this 6015 and are they the standard tracks? I’ve seen some with much narrower tracks.
@digitrc
2 ай бұрын
@@ayars660 it’s supposed to be 1/14 scale. I have not verified the scale on the 6015B. The tracks are wider then the other 6015B models out there but I think that they are more scale machines too. This one is pretty good but I had to put a lot of work into it to make it nicer. I do like the wide tracks on this machine. The crawler portion of this machine is very nice.

Brake fluid has a psi just as hydraulic fluid does so I thought it might help? Interesting build I enjoyed the repairs and up grades. I often check most things I purchase and I seem to modify and make things work better for the work I need. I like your insight and ingenuity. Hope this helps.

Thank you. I have blown out some brake line on this machine. It was airline brake line 1/4”Plus it was the wrong size by list a hair. Even the hydraulic lines for some reason don’t like to hold on this machine. After the repairs I have had 2 lines blow and I’m only running 3.5mpa. It’s doing better after I started heating up the lines to push them onto the Barb connector.

Putting it to the test alright. Both rigs! It looks by the site of it your hoses to your boom might just short enough to when the boom gets fully raised putting extra stress in hoses which then can jack w/ the fitting it’s pressed onto. Has it leaked there in past? Id need a second job filling that hydro tank up it’s massive. 👍🏼

I know it is Hugh! Yes those lines are too short. That’s the first time breaking. I’ve got to get new lines coming. I’ll have to replace both of them.
