I’ve never heard the term “tank” for a small pond like this. Nice video, glad I found the channel.

Thank you and I believe we call it a stock tank so the live stock can have water.

Man you got that dozer set up nice! I put their sweeps on my D4. Quite a trick to do alone but was worth it. Excellent work you did there 👍👍

Reckon building a tank around there is a challenge in having enough slope for run-off to fill it. Hope that subsoil seals up good, do you ever have to haul in something to seal tanks with?

Most of the time the clay around here is pretty good. This one had really good clay in it. Yes I’ve hauled in material to seal tanks off before.

Did you hook up the hoses backwards on purpose? Forward usually means down, and pulling back always suppose to be up.

That’s interesting that you say that lol. The diagram next to the control says they are hooked up correctly but I can’t get used to it so I’m gonna switch the hoses. Funny that someone noticed lol

@@jakesbackhoedozerservice7010 i was going to say, I couldn’t get use to that, what piece of equipment could you have ran that had hydraulics hooked up that way. Hopefully there’s a block at the back of the machine like on the 8T I ran you could easily just swap them at the block at the back of the machine instead of at the valve body underneath it.

Never heard the term tank for a pond, or as the locals around here call them "pernds". Rippers worked well, good shots of them pulling the clay apart 👍 Either way, you did a canny job on it, hope it stays dry for you a bit longer to get more jobs completed !!!
