Operated Dozers for 47 years, I tried to always keep my cut level, instead of loading the blade and pushing that load UP over the pile I was working on🤷♂️

This man has operated dozers for many years too and this is how they move a surge pile just a few metres.

I like walking mud, as in using mud to walk away all the mud to get to dry land. I twice walked two ponds worth of mud out ( with one dozer ) by going from left to right and back again many times, until the whole pond was completely dry on the bottom and the sides. My boss and told me it couldn't be done, so I showed him. Lol

I guess we differ on definition of muck. Muck in my world leads to a lot of ugly track cleaning at the end of the day

If that was muck the tracks would be packed full! Looks like dry dirt to me.

Only in the U.K. would they call dirt (Muck)! MUCK is a tunneling term not above ground construction!

Why should it? We call things differently all over the world.Tunnelling residue in the UK is called spoil.
