Sounds like he’s being mean to his priest, but this is the relationship they have and if he had an issue he wouldn’t que with him. In all honesty its beneficial to have someone giving you a hard time when you misplay. How else are you meant to improve? You are all too soft. Priest had plenty of clean games in this video and he played well.
@deensama7718
11 күн бұрын
You don't really have to give someone a hard time for them to improve. I improve mostly by being hard on myself, having teammates try to do it it is just annoying and unproductive at best, and infuriating at worst. I hear a lot of people speak as if shitting on teammates is supposed to help them but it doesn't make a whole lot of sense - the best teacher is one who corrects poor play while encouraging the fundamentals and mindset that leads to good play. The 'mindset' portion is critical, because developing a growth mindset is what allows people to make good decisions independently in the future. I do want to make it clear though that I don't think Hansol was being super toxic lol, it sounds like he was mostly just ribbing his teammate who was taking it in stride. There are a lot of people who go much further than that when a teammate fucks up and their logic for doing so is basically what you stated: "Giving people a hard time motivates them to improve" - but that's 100% cope on their part and it's not even true in the way they state it. It's true that shitting on people /can/ motivate people, but it's not guaranteed to work. On top of that, the situations where it does works, the motivation is actually in spite of the way you treated them, which means you're being toxic to a teammate for no real reason besides the fact that you're upset that they made a mistake. Do that enough and you may eventually create good players, 99% of the time however YOU won't be the beneficiary of their good play. Instead it would help to display some emotional control by not insulting peoples play and instead calmly going over the mistake and how to correct it. This way you're achieving the goal of building both a competent and confident teammate that actually enjoys playing with you

@@zoranbogdanovic1971I haven’t played much 2s tbh so I’m not 100% familiar but yeah I had like a 25min game into Enha/Hpal and Feral/Disc the other day. There’s no dampening so it’s bound to happen which is why the 2v2 bracket is kind of a joke. In general tho yeah disc can do some dmg but we had an issue where he was breaking my dbs and novas so I’d rather have them not break cuz it means more pump from me. He can assist in it but it has to be at the right times.

Your arrogance is the only thing surpassing your skill, and that just makes the watch less enjoyable. I see no reason to keep saying "I have eyes bro", "Oh really, bro, can`t I see?"... He is a bit nervous and just wants to help out. Doesn`t mean he doesn`t believe you can do it yourself, just wanna take some pressure of you, however he can.
@Despond

You are exaggerating, they are friends they can be sarcastic and critical because they know there's no bad intention. Basically you're being a drama queen and over-sensitive if you thinking someone sarcastically saying "I have eyes bro" is arrogance.

Your ego is way too big bro, calm down you are playing a chidren's game that is almost dead. If you don't like the guy don't play with him, but being toxic like that is super childish. @@hansolzy ngl I think people are just getting triggered by the minor shit talk lol. For some reason they're assuming the priest is a total rando, in which case it probably would be a little too aggressive but still not THAT crazy for high ratings. I think a lot of people go into arena with an ego and end up having a really bad time because of it, then swearing off arena forever. Some peoples egos were bruised by getting destroyed repeatedly because they didn't want to put the effort in, and others got into teams with players who were competent but also total dickheads who shit on them relentlessly and so they gave up. I was definitely in the latter group when I started in BC (although I didn't end up quitting because of it) so I could see why some people are sensitive to it lol I definitely do think that the people averse to being overly rude to teammates have a point since I don't think it's a good way to build good players and I think it's overall detrimental to the health of the scene, BUUUUUUUT the fact that they're overly sensitive to it and throw a fit any time they see anything that even smells like shit talk makes them look more like whiny babies. I think they started as people who genuinely wanted to improve and might have been receptive to feedback were their team not simultaneously insulting and attacking them. The really overly toxic people AND the people who bitch and moan about good natured ribbing between friends are kind of bad for genuine competition and interest in arena IMO.
