Two small (3-6" wingspan) catapult launch gliders I built and flew for fun in November 2020. They have similar construction, with an extremely hard 3/32" balsa fuselage, airfoiled C grain medium light 1/16" balsa wings, and light A grain 1/32" balsa for the tail surfaces.
Trim settings are pretty fussy at this size, these are both flying with a 1/64" washin gurney flap under the left wing and just the slightest bit of up elevator breath-warped in. With a good launch and transition, I've gotten ~1 minute flights with the Katze, and I'm excited to try both of these gliders out on a day with a lot of thermals.
