This is appreciated. I am not new to fishing but spent most of my time on mountain lakes. Headed out on Ok tomorrow from Coral Beach. No idea of what way to go but will have some fun learning and hopefully find a good spot.

Hey great video man you have some good tips. Just wondering, what rod would you recommend for leadcore trolling for trout? Would that okuma black kokanee rod be a good choice or do i need a heavier rod? Thanks and good luck fishing this next season

Hello thanks for watching my videos and following I would go with something heavier for lead core setup like a okuma downrigger rod and the okuma 30x magma reel

Thanks for the video! It is super helpful for someone like me who wants to learn how to fish but has no one to teach them! I'm just wondering why some of the plugs have single hooks and why some have triple hooks? Cheers!

I am glad you found the video helpful - some of the plugs are designed with treble hooks and some are designed with single by the manufacturers - some lakes in BC you can’t use treble so I have found that even one that come with treble hooks work ok with single if you change them out . Make sure to subscribe if you haven’t already I am working in more videos 😊

Where are you located bud? I live in Coquitlam but planning to move to Salmon Arm. I'm primarily a river fisherman but looking forward to learning all about lake fishing techniques and meeting some of those beautiful large trout you have up there.
