One thing I want to add about the hybrid hunter. I made mine almost completely weedless by adding single inline hooks instead of trouble hooks. I've had no issues what to wear with hookups. And it comes through grass like it was a grass jig
@TylersReelFishing
Жыл бұрын
Dang, that’s a good idea. Which specific hook?
@makcatchem9614
Жыл бұрын
@@TylersReelFishing either the VMC or the Owner 1x size 1or 1/0. Depending on what hybrid hunter you're using. And I also found it nice that since these are a 1x strong hook. I can step up my line and rod strength as well. For fighting fish in grass and cover. Without using your typical glass to fish a crankbait because you're essentially fishing with two jig hooks at that point. I figured this trick out while fishing ponds in the Northeast region where it was heavy vegetation. And I knew what the best wanted but I couldn't get it quite to them. And now I've adapted the hybrid hunter as my main weedless crankbait. And I will pick that up and fish that in anybody of water when the situation arises.

No, it’s specifically built for bass in the 48 states. Not other countries or other species
@CAN43725

Rapidly cooling water temps do not accelerate their metabolism. Since they are cold blooded creatures, their metabolism is opposite that of warm-blooded creatures that need more fuel to stay warm and insulate their bodies. This is why it is harder to catch bass after a cold front or during the cold winter months.
@TylersReelFishing
Жыл бұрын
I mis spoke then. It triggers the ecosystem to feed, because every forage down the chain is moving slower
@CAN43725
Жыл бұрын
Moving slower has more to do with dissolved oxygen. Their metabolism can be on high without moving at all. Bass need to eat less as the water cools because their metabolism slows. Fall fishing can be awesome because they are opportunistic, and forage can be more concentrated due to less vegetation with bass following them, smaller feeding windows due to shorter days etc. It is not because they are feeding more in the fall than in the summer. @@TylersReelFishing
