Listening to Gabby talk to the alligator in such a calming way, reassuring him it’s going to be okay shows how much she truly cares for the alligator. It just comes naturally and it shows in all of the rescues they do. You’re such a blessing to these animals Gabby! Not to leave Chris out- I bet you were as worn out as the gator after getting him in the car. I can’t believe you carried that guy on your own!

That’s a beautiful alligator. He looks very healthy. He’s a lucky alligator because you were the ones that caught him and not other people that would’ve kill him. I get angry that people kill them. @ArmednotTriggered
2 жыл бұрын
It's a classic fight or flight response . The gator is trying to escape and get back into the water where it's safer. He's not thinking about going on the defensive unless Chris or Gabbie get too close, but they're professionals. It would be incredibly rare for a gator to pursue a human for a great distance out of the water. Nesting moms definitely will. Sometimes nuisance gators will, but for the most part, the water is their safe zone and they're not going to leave it.
@ralpbeez8414
2 жыл бұрын
I think that's why he said he was "tiring him out," you can notice the gator was visibly tired out from all the flailing by the time it was finally pulled out of the water. You can also see it tried to chomp at him when being pulled, but the gator's main response is to stay in the water because that's where it has the advantage and is most safest. On land it's much more vulnerable and not as fast.
