As a veteran fisherman of >50 years, it's great to see you using effective techniques to catch fish and practice catch and release. Returned fish will have a greater chance of survival if you use a simple technique of a damp towel or cloth (use the sea water at your venue) to handle them, also return them into the water as close to sea level as is safe to do so. You are likely to drop less fish handling them in a damp towel as you will be less concerned about being spiked.

@@fishingsquaduk1251 Ay up bud, did you get to it via the Crugan farm end or that little lane off the A499 ? Just wondering where I could park up and which path to take to the mark ( I noticed in the vid the sea was on your right side when walking down 🤔). Any help would be great mate

@@willsommers6477 there's a lane off the road between Pwllheli and Abersoch you park at the end of the lane which backs onto Pwllheli beach basically head along the coastal path to the right and you will come across the rocks to fish off, the sea was on the left on the walk to the mark or it should be lol 😆
