I had taken a little bit of a break but I'm back bro and awesome to see you chasing some trout again 👍🏼 Beautiful looking lake there and looks to be holding some good fish to Keep up the awesome work bro PS lots of people are running assist hooks behind Tassie Devils seems to hold the fish a bit better

Cheers Mick! I've been busy myself as well, gotta do a catch up on your vids. Yeah one of the guys who chases trout there has had the same issue with dropping heaps of them, he's looking at running a couple singles off the back. Alan from fishingmad has a neat little rigging for running a couple or single assists.

@@jordythebassist yeah mate the best way is just buy some pre rigged double assist hooks then just run an orange bead between that and the Tassie Devil Orange beads are definitely the best colour for trout in my opinion

Solid effort. Was actually considering going there on Friday to try for some redfin till plans changed. Didn't know it held trout! Will head there soon enough and hope I have as much success as this vid 🤙

It's definitely worth a try for Trout! I heard that the southern part of the reservoir tends to hold more Redfin and the Northern part is more Trout waters but how true that is I'm not sure.

Hey Jordy, I’ve been down to the Werribee river a few times near the river bend historical park, but I haven’t caught anything. Do you have any tips on how to catch anything there?
@jordythebassist

G'day Felix! This time of year the Bass tend to hold a lot deeper and towards the middle of the river, my suggestion would be to try worms as I know some blokes have been catching them on worms lately however lures don't seem to be tempting them as much. Hope this helps 🙂

What pound test are you using on your leader? And are you using flora carbon?
@jordythebassist

I typically use 6lb or 8lb, I go with 8lb on the bigger lures like the Tassie Devil. And yes Fluorocarbon, it disappears in water better than mono which is good for more finicky species like Trout. Hope this helps 🙂
