I haven’t ever been to the Darlington livestock auction. We always took cows to Chester Livestock up till they closed down. Going to have to go down there sometime. That auction isn’t far from me. Great video!

I have attended hundreds of auctions throughout my life, and I have consistently been able to comprehend the auctioneer when they call out bid numbers. However, upon viewing this particular video, I found it challenging to understand any of the words the auctioneer was articulating. I had been researching this sale barn auction with the intention of attending, but now I am uncertain about my attendance due to the difficulty I encountered in comprehending the bid prices being announced.

There was a big livestock auction really close to where I used to live in Pennsylvania but there were 3 within an hour . I used to go every Tuesday they had the sale in the afternoon and they had a flea market in the morning. They had a restaurant and food vendors. They had a poultry sale at noon and the big animals at 3

@doublejfarmshomestead4501 To my knowledge, there's not too many around here, but i haven't really looked either, but I used to love going. I bought and sold a whole lot of stuff at the Middleburg auction in Pennsylvania

I have seen a few videos and different places do it differently personally I want to pay for the whole animal not by the pound other wise I'll have to do the math fast in my head

Most stockyards around us sell select animals strictly by the head (whole animal). They’ll sell it by the pound first so if it brings 456.00, they’ll then start it by the head then. Start it at 460.00 and go up if folks continue to bid
