Yes, thank you. Sadly he put it where it's next to impossible for me to us. Yes, I told him this at the beginning but he knew better. So he's using it. Not me. :( lol

Great video! I am not a very skilled carpenter, but I build anyway. I saw many tips and tricks that I will use from now on in my cattle panel green house and other projects too. Thanks!

Me, too. My husband is so much better but I'm learning and not giving up. I love KZitem because there is someone somewhere teaching about everything. It's given me the confidence to try various carpentry methods, like mitering the ends and rabbeting for the hardware cloth. I love building/creating. Hope to have several chicken coops ready for sale this Saturday. Thank you for you comment.

There aren't a lot of Vivians, and you spell your name the same as I do.

I love the details I never knew that about the wood and how to hold down the bow. I have been working with this Harbor Freight Greenhouse with was a return and it was donated to my mentoring organization because I mentor at-risk youth 7-18 and it has been a struggle putting together and also trying to get them to help me as KZitem. this seems I lot easier. Keeping them active and teaching them how to plant, take care of, harvest, take some home and teach them how to cook it and they have no problem with eating it. It has been keeping them off the streets and killing each other. So if I want to make it wider would it be better to connect two for extra width and keep it at least 6 to 7 feet high?

Cattle panels are 16 feet, if you overlapped two by 1 to 2 feet you'd end up with a panel that is 28 to 30 feet before bending. Also keep in mind if you have heavy snows. The hoops may bend/fold/collapse under a heavy snow fall. Snow is rare here and never alot that last days. It would be a good project for teams to try different configurations. Keep up the mentoring. God bless you and your kids.

Some VERY good pointers in addition to Texas Prepper. I would like your thoughts on using polycarbonate for the ends.

Not sure about polycarbonate interacting with the plastic cover. We stayed on the safe side by not using any other plastic, pvc or rubber in this build.

Hi. Nice looking greenhouse. How large was the plastic you used to wrap it with?

It was 20 feet wide. Panels are 16 feet long (the arch). I wanted to order more of the plastic for another garden project but can't remember how much extra or how much. We didn't go with the cheaper plastic sheeting we could have bought locally. My husband ordered a special UV protected thick plastic. I thought I put that info on the finished video kzitem.info/news/bejne/xJ6JuZmrfYiUq6A but I only talked about protecting the plastic from the sharp parts of the cattle panel and not to use pvc products with the plastic sheeting.
