Very informative video. My eyes are week and dry. I'm vegetarian. Eat lots of vegetables and drink lot of carrot juice. But I have gut issues. I ordered beta carotene supplements. But after watching this video, i have realized that for me it's better to go for retinol supplements as my stomach will not digest and convert beta carotene into vitamin A. This video cleared a lot to me. Thank you so much.

Retinyl forms will be the most common either esters or acetate. Ester is more common and you will see it as retinyl palmitate. often there will be some fish liver oil mixed in there too, which would be retinol since it is from animal not synthetic.

I don’t know that this is factual because your body knows how to convert beta carotene to vitamin A. I found no research to corroborate what she said and it sounds like something she just heard and is repeating it without research.. that’s why it’s no a good idea to get info from KZitemrs, that never leave sources..

So retinol palmitate is better for skin and acne? Americas diet is so terrible and most foods causes acne and oily skin. Also dairy causes acne for me and they say Vitamin A in dairy is good for you. And also why are most supplements of retinol palmitate average 10,000 IU - 25,000 IU per capsule and then most complain it's too potent?

The recent upper limit of vitamin A is 10k IU per day. Of course people say the supplement is potent bacause of that. And we still get vitamin A from food and much higher if ypu consume meat especially liver, so you will consume more thatn 10k/day.

Vitamin a supplements fixed my acne after 25 years of trying everything. I need more than recommended daily amount, and after taking it I had completely different skin in one month. I’ve always had digestion issues, so I think I wasn’t absorbing enough normally, and I eat mostly vegetarian. Wish I had figured it out sooner, but I’m still grateful to know now.😊

After tetracycline I can barely see if I don't take 25000 iu of beta carotenoids. How much Vitamin A would I need to do the same thing?
