“Sometimes I don’t want to sing” is such a powerful line coming from Robbie. He’s someone making a living off of his music, and he’s happy with his career, but sometimes you don’t even want to do the things that make you happy because you are just so down. That’s such a great line.

So, im writing a Broadway musical featuring the songs of Cavetown, Chloe Moriondo, and Melomaniac. this song is so dear to me ...... i went through a very dark time last year, and had many unpretty thoughts day and night. I survived somehow and this album played a vital role. I wouldn't say that it literally saved me, bcs there were many small things that pushed me through and it was surely a part of it. I listened to it while having my worst breakdowns. And on days when i felt so alone and afraid, the songs hugged me, and embraced me. There were nights when I'd just go out and listen to the songs and just, cry. I had troubles in letting out my emotions but they helped me release them and i cant thank Robbie enough for it. Months after that slump i had, i couldn't listen to this album just casually bcs it holds so much meaning to me but now that im healing and i look back, i am just so grateful. though i still cannot listen it very often bcs of the flashbacks and the emotional baggage that i shared with them.........

Thank god for this song and instagram! It’s how I found cavetown literally the day before yesterday and I’ve been listening to all their music constantly
