This is, for me, the crux of it all - smooth spinning engine (whatever size/bore) with low vibration, so minimised noise and wear. Well done CB!!

There is ISO standards for balancing. ( ISO 1940/1 ) Typical European values is Gram/mm (100 G/mm is ex: 1Gram@100mm Radius) and they are approx like this: Production cars 100-300 G/mm Sportscars 60-100 G/mm Nascar/touringcar 40 G/mm Formula 1 26 G/mm

The ideal tolerance to balance to is Zero. We do not know of any chart that has the information your are looking for.

How close does the balance have to be inorder to rev to say 7000 rpm consistently with less wear? Is there a chart or something for this?

Are all your cranks balanced out of the box? Or do we need to do this at a local shop ?

they're neutrally balanced, but you'll want to get the whole rotating assembly balanced.
