Sure you can. Depends on where you are though. In the US there are places where the speed limit is 80mph. I've rode a Ninja 250 for long rides years ago. It did great, the biggest issue was high winds actually. On a light bike you get blown around by side winds quite a bit. At some times i had to pull over because i was getting blown off the road. That being said, never let the bike your on stop you from doing the trips you want. You'll make it with enough determination, and sometimes being on a plucky little bike makes the trip that much more fun. Hi from the US. 😁

One of the best review on KZitem and I don't understand why the silly thumbs down! You talked about the real stuff like max speed and seat issues, I couldn't understand well regarding the Kms doable with a full tank. 120 Km/h cruise speed is more than enough since in my country most of freeways and payways speed limit is 100 Km/h.

Since you are looking for refinement and reliability, I will suggest you to give preference to CB300R. Dominar is a full package at an attractive price tag. A fine tunining on refinement on the Domi would have crashed the CB300R market. Since you are not concerned on the price also , CB300R. But my doubt is, why to look for a Domi/CB300R when upgrading from a 250R 😊. If you can push your budget a little bit ahead, you have TNT 300 or R3.

Hi Strell, thank you for all your reviews. Would it be possible for you to review a Honda CB 400 SF Limited Edition or III specification and advise if it would worth a tourer. I am currently in love with that bike and hope to ride it someday, I know that's a bike India has not made yet, is there any (not the VTEC) bike which can get at least close to that in terms of long distance cruising, power, refinement, stability at high speeds. When do you think Honda CB 400 SF will be launched in India? It is not worth to import due to the heavy taxed and it's price itself is a lot higher.

But never really enjoyed its engine majorly because its peaky. Its a fantastic engine, dont misunderstand me, but i like torque lowdown. Thats what you will like most about this bike - how effortless it is to build speeds. In terms of handling its a great handler but definitely not scalpel sharp precision tool that R15 is. @@arunabhawasthi3745 Thanks for the reply! You are spot on about the R15. I hardly ever ride it below 7k rpm; it's really amazing in the higher revs. It's so peaky I had no idea what a low end punchy engine feels like; last year I rode a yamaha Fz25 when I realized what low end power really means and I loved it, especially being starved of it. The thing is, I know that if I buy the CB, which has so much more torque than the fz25, the low-mid end punch will surely blow my mind. What I'm not sure is about the top end feel / stability. What's your experience with really fast, (always on the high revs) rides with the CB? Also, what's it nature like? Does it ask you to ride hard/mellow/xyz all the time? Thanks! (Have watched ride with rahul's video, but asking an owner is always better :))

@@__7000rpm the engine is strong throughout the powerband. Its a typical Honda engine and it loves to rev like mad. I keep hitting rev limiter every now and then without any resistance. But be prepared to see a change in your driving style. Once you experience the benefits of low and mid range, you really don’t feel like revving the engine needlessly. Keep the rpm in peak torque zone and tje bike munches miles effortlessly. As for stability, if you are asking about bike’s composer then you are going to love it. I have never experienced such complete chassis before. It’s rigid, light and nimble and keeps bike agile yet sure footed. Exceptional poise whenever on straight or curves. Only downside is windblast at higher speeds. This is where R15 benefits but again crouching down really helps. All i will say is that this bike will make you fall in love with riding. I wasn’t able to see myself with R15 for long but i will probably keep it for as long as destiny permits. Happy to help!!

I can do a 150kmph on my CBR with my body weight. Done 160kmph on a drag strip too. But 145kmph is an speed which anyone can take if the highway is safe. Getting a mileage of 33kpml while touring a speed of 90kmph to 110kmph.
